Officer Damian and I We reach the seventh floor and walk to a door where he enters the passcode. He walks inside, and I follow him silently and obediently. I remove my wet shoes and socks aside and look at the surroundings.

The apartment looks around a quarter the size of my penthouse, but the ambience is so nice. There's this creamy coffee scent in the atmosphere, and it looks so cosy and homely.

"Woah! I love this place!" I exclaim.

"You do?"

"Yeah! It's so nice. I mean, everything looks so cosy."

Officer Damian only smiles at my words and looks around as if for someone. He enters the first room in the hall and then closes it back silently.

"Linda's asleep. I guess she's tired." he scans me for a second before looking toward the kitchen. "Take a shower, I'll prepare you tea or coffee. What do you want?"

He asks, and I follow him while wondering if I should say tea or coffee. Both are good, but
