Four!

Author's POV 

"Liam, we are attacking Jaffery's house tonight... Sources have informed that his son is planning something. We need to finish his whole family before they do something."

Glenn informed that Jaffery was already a pain in the ass. His brothers and sons were no different. And after the news that Liam killed Jaffery, they were not going to sit quietly. 

"Are you prepared?"

Liam asked, while cleaning his gun. 

"Everything is good."

Glenn replied.

"I am coming with you."

Liam said flatly. 

Glenn frowned, Liam doesn't really join them in messy jobs like this. 

"Why? We will handle everything. You don't have to bother. We have it under control."

"I am coming. What are you going to do about it?"

He raised eyebrows challengingly. 

Glenn cleared his throat awkwardly. If Liam has made up his mind then 

"We will leave at 3 in the morning."

Liam scowled.

"You fuckers don't sleep or what? Ruining my schedule too... Anyways, I'll be there."

Glenn suppressed his smile and walked out before nodding. 

Meanwhile, Lisa was tense, walking back and forth in the garden. Her brother Jack saw it and approached her. 

"What happened, Lisa... I came to your house to share my problems but you look packed with yours."

Jack was a big man now, successful and settled with his own family. 

Lisa sighed when she saw him.

"Liam, Jack... He is my problem."

"Whom did he kill now?"

Jack chuckled. 

"His heart!"

Lisa replied. She told him whatever happened. 

"Why are you pressurising him, he has time... He can take his time to fall in love... It happens. Louis was just like him until he saw you."

Jack tried to assure her. 

"Liam has no heart, Jack... He is hurting girls who are trying to love him and no one will stay with him like that. He said, he will never get married and I know him. He can do that..."

She rubbed her face frustrated. 

"I want my son to fall in love and settle down. I want him to become a human."

"And what are you going to do in this?"

Jack questioned. 

Lisa smirked. 

"Anything. Bastard shouldn't forget that I am his mother... I just need a perfect girl."

On the other hand, Liam left the house at 3 in the morning with his men. Jaffery's whole house was asleep when he attacked. 

One by one all guards were killed by his men, and blood spattered everywhere. Screams echoed in the house.

Liam sliced every man who came in front of him.

"No women in the house?"

He asked Glenn. 

"Fuckers have already killed all their women... There shouldn't be any left."

He replied while taking down one more man. 

They killed everyone.

"Check each and every room, there shouldn't be anyone left behind."

He ordered and his men started breaking down the doors of all rooms they saw. 

Liam entered a few rooms and they were empty, until he finally broke the door of that one room which was more like a store room. He entered and roamed his eyes around, there wasn't any man but there was someone. 

Someone he didn't expect and it made him frown. 

A petite figure, curled up in the corner of the room. Hardly visible under the moonlight coming from the window. He went closer, silently. It was a woman, sleeping with her knees close to her chest. Barely covered in clothes, the body was covered in bruises and marks. Her one leg was chained to the metal cage beside her. She was tied like an animal. And was obviously treated worse than that. 

Why and how did she end up there? But again it's not a new thing in his world, and this is exactly what he expected from Jaffery and his family. 

He knelt beside her and gently removed hair from her face. She flinched and her eyes snapped open. The moment she saw him, a scream escaped her mouth and she scooted back to the wall terrified. Probably thinking he is there to hurt her. 

Liam noticed how traumatised she was. Her eyes were zeroed on him as she would blink and he would hurt her.

"Who are you?"

Her face was bruised and dirty yet he noticed how beautiful she was, her features were angelic. Stark blue eyes looked like a stormy ocean. She had something in her, something mysterious on her face because he was struggling to take his eyes off her. 

He extended his hand to touch her but she started crying and screaming so he pulled his hand back. 

"You wanna come out?"

He asked and she stared at him lost.

She scooted further away from him. He grew irritated. Why should he care about anyone anyway? He is here to kill people not to save anyone. He doesn't enjoy saving lives.

"You are no better than dead anyway."

He said annoyed and got up. 

His eyes met those blue orbs again before he started walking away. But his heart felt a skip like this is the first time it didn't agree with his own decision. He turned and looked at the girl again. She was looking back at him but didn't ask for help. 

She was too terrified to even open her mouth.

Liam sighed and walked out, leaving her behind even though he didn't like the feeling in his chest.

"We are done, no one is left behind."

Glenn ordered and followed Liam out. 

They got inside the car and Liam took the driving seat. He didn't know why but steering was in his hands. He looked at the mansion one more time, as if he was thinking about the girl who was left behind. That beautiful scared face and those innocent terrified eyes were asking him so many questions. 

He started the car, thinking someone would save her if not him. His car got on the road. 

"Where is Roman?"

He asked when he didn't see him in the car. 

"Burning the house down... He will come once done."

Glenn informed. 

Liam's heart skipped a beat when Glenn said that. That girl quickly flashed in front of his eyes. 

"Fucking hell!"

He cursed and turned the car on the spot, making his men hit their heads on the window glass. 

"Liam, what's wrong?"

Glenn asked worriedly. Almost in panic because he couldn't understand what was happening. 

Liam sped up the car like never before, it was competing with the air. In no time he reached back to the place and saw Roman had already set the house on fire and fucker was watching it burn with a smile, not aware that there was a girl inside tied with chains. 

The car didn't even stop properly while Liam opened the door and got out and ran inside the house without thinking for a second. 

Glenn and his men watched it happen like a horror movie. 

"Liam!"

He screamed when Liam jumped into the fire.
