I woke up after a disturbing sleep, grunting as I sat up in bed, only to freeze when I noticed the patch on my shorts.
You've got to be fucking kidding me!
I lifted the waistband and took a glance. Did I freaking have a wet dream? Impossible! The last time I had those was years ago when I was a fucking teenager…it must be a mistake. It had to be.
I'm just too old for that.
…
Waking up to a disturbing scene almost made my day worse. First, I couldn't find my favourite cup. I could have sworn it was on the counter when I went to bed last night, but it seemed to vanish.
After that, it was my favourite pair of boxer briefs. The same pair I had folded two days ago, and had planned to wear for a new contract signing, had, just like my favourite mug, vanished without a trace.
It took me hours of practically searching every corner of my room, then my house, to realise they were freaking missing. I don't even use a dry cleaning service, so I knew they weren't in someone's place.
And if that wasn't the worst, my freaking neighbour parked behind my car because apparently a psycho parked in his spot. I had to call his flat before he came down to remove it.
By the time I arrived at work, I was at the limit of my patience. My eyes had circles around them, and I hadn't even had any caffeine in my system. The search for my boxer brief had taken most of my time.
“Good morning, boss!” My receptionist, and a worker I didn't recognise, greeted me the moment I stepped in.
I waved at them as I rushed towards the lift, still fucking pissed at the universe for the sick joke she's playing.
However, when I stepped into my office and saw a steaming cup of coffee, all that frustration vanished. I hurried over to my desk, tossed my briefcase on my couch, and practically dived for the cup. I took a large gulp of the coffee and breathed out a sigh. As the hot liquid slithered down my throat to my stomach, it seemed to lift my spirit. I no longer felt that urge to snap the head of any that so much as looked at me.
I took the cup and walked around my desk to my chair. I took a sip before I sat down, placing the mug on the desk. I had never appreciated my secretary as I did at that moment. For the first time since I employed him four years ago, he actually brought coffee in, and it was at the moment I needed it so badly. Who knows what I would have done if I hadn't taken that sip?
My sour mood was lifted, along with the weight of the chaos that had plagued my morning. It seemed like a simple cup of coffee had the power to turn my day around completely. As I settled into my chair, feeling the caffeine kick in and the warmth of the mug in my hand, I couldn't help but smile.
Maybe the day isn't lost after all.
With a newfound sense of determination, I opened my laptop and got to work, feeling more focused and energised. And as the day went on, I found myself being more productive than usual. It was as if that cup of coffee had given me a boost of motivation that I desperately needed.
By the end of the day, I had accomplished more than I thought possible. I even found my missing boxer brief tucked away in a drawer in my office, even though I couldn't even recall ever bringing it to the office. It was as if the universe had decided to give me a break after all the chaos earlier in the day. I thought of the positivity instead of dwelling on why the new boxer brief smelled washed.
Have I perhaps worn and washed it, and forgotten? Probably. With Dad's talk about marriage and settling down, I wouldn't be surprised if I forget some little details.
A knock came on my door a few minutes before closing time. I hadn't seen my secretary all day. It wasn't odd. We mostly spoke through the phone, aside from when I needed him physically present.
“Good evening, sir,” Edward greeted, stepping in and closing the door gently behind him. I nodded, with my gaze on my laptop, reading off the last sentence of the contract. It was my last work for the day, and I was ready to clock out.
It wasn't every day that you get a free night and….
Shit!
I hope I didn't jinx this.
“Sir, you have dinner with your dad tonight.”
“Fuck!”
Talk about jinxing it. I knew I shouldn't have thought about a free day. I always end up getting something for the day.
I quickly closed my laptop and stood up, running a hand through my hair in frustration. Dinner with my dad was the last thing I wanted to do tonight. We always end up arguing about something or the other.
“Tell him I won't make it,” I said, reaching for my jacket. “I'm busy.”
“But you're not. He —”
“Won't know you lied.” I walked towards him. “Postpone the meeting,” I said, patting him gently on his left shoulder. “I'm done for the day. After all the madness, I don't think I can afford to meet him. I might end up crashing.”
“I can't possibly —”
“That's why you get paid, Edward,” I cut him off before he could continue. “Cancel.”
“Okay, boss.” Gulping, he bowed and stepped to the side as I walked out of my office.
I wasn't lying about being drained. I fucking needed to crash early.
I stopped at a restaurant to eat dinner before I returned home and went straight to bed, without even bothering to change. The second my head hit the foam, I was out.
STEINI went to that meeting with the intention of embarrassing my dad and the bastard they wanted me to marry, only to get the greatest shock of my life. What were the chances that Kai was the one my dad wanted me to marry? I couldn't hide my happiness at the realisation that I was about to marry the man of my dreams, the one I had so badly wanted since I met him.The downside? He hated my guts. While I was happy, he looked like he wouldn't mind sending me to an early grave. That didn't sound so bad, though. As long as he follows me to the said grave. I'm not dying and leaving him behind. Unlike others who sacrifice themselves so the ones they love could live, I'll take Kai with me if something like that happens. I won't let him live in my death. What if he finds someone else and forgets me? That's never going to happen. He'll go when I do, and if he goes before me, I'll follow him immediately. When he ran from the dining room during the conversation, I raced after him, desperat
KAIThe rest of the week went by in a blur. By the time Friday knocked on my door, I was drained. I'd stayed awake two nights, thinking of the bloody truce marriage and how to get the fuck out of it. I wasn't like Dad, who thought we needed this. We don't. We have been surviving all these years without them. Why include them now? My suits felt like armour I hadn’t chosen. I picked black because this didn't feel like a joyous occasion at all. It was nothing but hell, one I didn't want to partake in, but was forced to.The drive to the estate took twenty minutes, but it seemed like twenty years. Security opened the gates without a word, and I drove in, straight to the outdoor garage. I stayed in the car for some minutes, preparing myself for the night before I exited the car and walked straight into the house. My legs led me to the sitting room, knowing that was where he was, and I wasn't wrong.“Kai.” Dad's voice cut across the room the second I stepped inside, as if he were an annou
KAIOnce again, I woke up to that depressing sight of cum sticking to my body. As if that weren't bad enough, there were also stains on the floor, and my reading desk, which I could have sworn was by my table, was in front of my bed, as if I had sat there before retiring to bed. The worst? I couldn't freaking recall anything. The last thing I remembered was falling into bed and dozing off. The rest? I couldn't freaking tell. The only good thing about today, like yesterday, was the coffee on my desk waiting for me. That, right there, was the only good thing that happened. Dad showed up unannounced at the office. He must have asked my secretary not to ring my office. All I heard was a knock, then he was inside, filling my space with his eyes narrowed."Kai Blau Schwarz!" He bellowed, raising his walking stick to point at me. "You dare stand me up last night!""Dad!" I got up from my desk and forced a smile, even though I wanted to scream. How the hell did he have the time to torment m
STEIN“I think it's time for you to settle down, Stein,” Dad said, his sharp voice cutting through the phone the second I took his call. “You're 25, and that's old enough to have a family. Your mother and I have found the perfect partner for you. We have a family dinner with them on Friday, and I need you home and on your best behaviour."I pinched the bridge of my nose, feeling the start of a headache. I always had one whenever I spoke to the bastard who called himself my father, a man who had tortured my mother, stood by and watched her die while his mistress took everything.I'd acted as if I were a fool, let them think they had me under their control, just for the right time. Soon.I could almost taste my revenge. It was more potent than Kai's cum, and that was fucking saying something."Stein?" His voice cut through my thoughts."I don't think —" “There's no excuse for this. I have already spoken to the other party's parents even though it took days negotiating,” he murmured the

STEINThe night masked me as I watched him, hidden in a corner, my camera ready to take more pictures. He was just as cute as always, dressed in a custom-made suit, his hair slicked back, and his strides long and precise. I'd watched him get ready. The way the water cascaded down his naked back as he washed himself clean was so alluring I couldn't hold back. I'd wanked myself at the sight, wishing and hoping for a chance to touch him, to show him just what I was capable of. My dick twitched in my slacks and I punched it. “Soon,” I promised. I would soon make myself known to my prey. Kai Schwarz. The son of my father's enemy. I had watched him for five years now, followed him everywhere he went and kept tabs on him. I had even gotten rid of the men who tried to touch what was mine. I had protected him for years even though he didn't know, and soon, I'll make myself known to him. He will soon know he has a master. I took as many photos of him as I could as I drove behind him. He di
