A choked gasp escaped my lips as my hands flew to my mouth while a fresh wave of blood poured from the open wound.

I could barely breathe.

“No-no, you’re bleeding so much-” my voice cracked as panic clawed its way up my throat. “Y-you’ll die! Please, stop.don’t do this”

I grabbed my scarf and pressed it against the wound on his shoulder, my hands trembling. The fabric turned red immediately.

I was crying now, blinking through tears, my heart thudding so loudly I could barely think.
