LOGINI had agreed to one week of being theirs. Both of theirs.
Jace drove me back to campus like nothing had happened, but everything had happened. Ethan sat in the back seat with me this time, his leg pressing against mine, his hand resting on the seat behind me, not touching, but close enough that I could feel the heat. "You have class until 3pm," Ethan said, looking at my schedule on my phone. He had taken my phone and added his fingerprint to it. "Jace will pick you up at 3:15pm. Don't be late." "I can take the bus," I said quickly. "No," both of them said at the same time. Jace looked at me in the mirror. "We take care of what's ours, Aria. That's part of the deal." When we got to campus, Chloe was waiting by my building with her mouth open. She stared at the Range Rover, then at my necklace. "Aria Hayes?" she mouthed. I shook my head violently. Not Hayes. Not yet. I got out of the car fast. Ethan rolled the window down. "3:15pm, little one. Wear the necklace." I walked away without looking back, but I could feel both of them watching me. Classes were a blur. All I could think about was the rules. Rule one, rule two, rule three. _You are ours. Both of ours._ At 3:14pm, the black Range Rover was back. Exactly on time. Jace was alone this time. "Where's Ethan?" I asked, getting in the front seat. "Work," Jace said. He looked tired, but happy. "He wanted to come, but I told him today is my day. We agreed to take turns for dates. Tonight is my turn." My heart skipped. "Date?" He smiled, that soft Jace smile I had loved since I was fifteen. "Yes, Aria. A real date. I have been wanting to take you on a real date for ten years." He took me to the old pier, where we used to fish as kids. He had set up a small table with lights, with food from my favorite restaurant. It was simple and sweet and so Jace. "Aria, I need to ask you something," he said after we ate. He took my hands across the table. "When Ethan and I said we share... what did you feel? Honestly." I looked down. "I felt... scared. And confused." "And something else?" he pressed gently. I nodded, my face hot. "I felt... relieved. Because I didn't want to hurt you. Either of you. I love you, Jace. I always have. But Ethan... when he looks at me..." "I know," Jace said quietly. "I have always known. Since we were kids, you always looked for him when he came home. You thought I didn't notice, but I did." He squeezed my hands. "I used to be jealous of him. But now... if sharing you is the only way I get to keep you, I will do it. I would rather have half of you than none of you." Tears ran down my face. "Jace..." He leaned over and kissed me. Soft, slow, like he had been saving it for years. I kissed him back. It felt like coming home. When we pulled away, we were both breathing hard. "That was worth ten years of waiting," he whispered. His phone buzzed. A message from Ethan: _Is she still with you? Is she okay?_ Jace showed me the message and smiled. "He checks every ten minutes. He is going crazy not being here." As if on cue, another message came: _Tell her tomorrow is my turn. And tell her not to wear jeans. I want to see her legs._ Jace laughed and threw his phone in the back seat. "Ignore him. Tonight is ours." He drove me home at 11pm and walked me to my door. He kissed my forehead. "Goodnight, ours," he whispered, touching the necklace. Inside my apartment, my phone buzzed again. Ethan: _Did he kiss you?_ I stared at it. Rule two: Be honest. I typed: _Yes._ Three dots appeared instantly. Then: _Good. Now I know how much harder I have to kiss you tomorrow to make you forget his kiss. Sleep well, little one. Dream of us._ I touched my lips, which still felt like Jace's, and my necklace, which felt like both of them. One day of one week was over. Six days left. And I was already falling deeper. My phone buzzed._MICHAEL: Where are you? Jace said you were sick. Ethan said you were studying. Which is it? Aria, answer me.__MICHAEL: I'm at your dorm. Your bed is empty. I'm calling Mom._Jace went pale reading it. "He texted me too. 10 missed calls."Ethan looked at Jace. "He's your best friend. You lied to your best friend?"Jace's hands were shaking. "He's been my best friend since we were 10. Since we moved next door to Aria. He made me promise - 'Jace, that's my little sister, don't let boys touch her.' And I said 'I got you, bro.'"Mrs. Hayes looked at Mr. Hayes. I did not sleep. How do you sleep in the middle of two Hayes brothers when one has his arm around your waist and the other has his hand in your hair and both are breathing like they are trying not to wake you up?At 6am, the lake was frozen white. The fire was dead.Chloe was asleep on the couch, mouth open.Jace was awake, watching me. Ethan was awake, watching Jace watch me."Good morning, ours," Jace whispered."Good morning, little one," Ethan whispered at the same time.I was in the middle. Still in my wrinkled dress from two nights ago, still in Ethan's hoodie. My hair smelled like both of them now."Time to go face your parents?" I asked."Time to go face our future," Ethan corrected. He got up and started the fire again. We drove back to the city in two cars again. Chloe followed us in hers. My phone had full signal now. 47 missed texts. 12 missed call from my brother Michael, 5 missed calls from my scholarship advisor. And one new text from UNKNOWN:_UNKNOWN: Wear something n

We need to talk about this arrangement._I read the text three times.Aria Cole dear. She knew my last name."Your mom just texted me," I said, holding my phone up. "She said dinner tomorrow. 7pm. She saw Chloe's LIVE."Jace and Ethan both went silent.Ethan took my phone, read the text, and his face - for the first time since I met him at age 16 - looked nervous."She never texts girls we date," Jace said quietly."She never texts at all," Ethan added. "She makes our father text."Chloe, still sitting on the floor with her blanket, whispered, "Is that bad? That she texted Aria and not you?""It's very bad," Ethan said.Jace sat down hard on the couch. "Our parents saw the LIVE. That means our father saw it too.""Your father?" I asked. I had only met Mr. Hayes twice. Once when I was 16 and my mom and I moved next door, he looked at m
_UNKNOWN: Stay away from the Hayes brothers, Aria. Or we will show everyone what kind of girl you really are. We have photos of you from last night._My hands went cold."Who is that?" Chloe grabbed my phone, reading over my shoulder. "Aria, who sent this?"Jace and Ethan were behind me in seconds. Both looking at my screen. No signal, but the text had come through somehow, delayed from an hour ago.Ethan took my phone from my hand. His jaw tightened. The calm, dangerous Ethan from the penthouse elevator lobby was back."What photos from last night?" he asked, his voice low."I don't know," I whispered. "Last night I was at your penthouse. I fell asleep on your couch. I - I was in a dress -""Show me your phone," Jace said to Chloe. "Now."Chloe unlocked her phone with shaking fingers. She opened her Instagram. Her DMs were full. "I KNEW IT! I followed your cars! Aria cole! Are you in there with BOTH of them?! I am LIVE!"Chloe's voice cracked through the glass door. Her phone's red LIVE dot blinked.Inside the lake house, I couldn't breathe."Turn it off!" I screamed at the window. "Chloe, turn it OFF!"But she didn't. She held her phone higher. I could see the comments on her screen from where I stood._OMG that's the Hayes brothers house???__She is with BOTH??__Is that Aria from Econ 101?_My legs gave out. Jace caught me before I hit the floor.Ethan was already at the door. He yanked it open. Cold lake air rushed in."Chloe. Give me the phone," he said, his voice deadly calm.Chloe stepped back, still filming. She was shaking, but not from cold. From excitement. "Ethan, everyone is watching! The whole campus group chat is watching! They said - they said you were sharing her - I didn't believe -""Chloe, please," I cried, pushing past Ethan. I was still in his hoodie and Jace's jacket, dress wrinkled, ha
