Reunion

Why was he here? Was this some kind of test? A game of sort that fits his pleasure or entertainment?

Christen didn’t know what to make of it when she saw Forrest walk through those doors. Her mind was just swarming with questions as to why he was here to start with. Was he also a part of this role play? Or was he someone else dressed as him? Considering how devoted he was to his true love, she doubted it was the real man. Why would he ever come to see her?

“Ma’am? Ma’am,” the nurse’s call snapped her out of her thoughts. “Are you okay? You seem a little pale.”

Christen didn’t know if the concern was false or genuine- though she suspect it to be false- but she was in no mood to bother thinking about it, as she simply nodded her head.
