Small Drift

Christen was at peace, as she usually would feel when with her child. He who was on her bedside, introducing a doggie plush toy.

“Isn’t he cool? Uncle Forrest and Auntie Kiara got him for me,” he said. “I don’t know what to name him yet, though. Maybe we can name him together?”
