Chapter 18

(Gideon's Pov)

A satisfying smile appeared at the corner of my lips, I watched as Edwards tried to understand what was going on.

"I think it's best, I take my leave, sir, it seems like you are busy" I managed to say

I stood up from where I sat, Edward's eyes darted from me to Mr. Henry, the situation was not in his favor.

This was the beginning of his suffering, I haven't even started yet. I walk towards the elevator, staring at the buttons as they count.

"Unfortunately, my co-worker Edward was accused of stealing, but I always know his behavior will get him in trouble one day," The voice beside me said.

I turned and stared at Noah, who stared at me, a wide smile spread across his face.

I scoffed, as we both got into the elevator, and the number counted downward. I remain composed.

"Good job" I compliment him

"It wasn't easy to frame someone like him, he was already walking on thin ice," Noah responded.

"Be careful who you tell that to" I warn him. "You sure don't want to join him"
