Isabella was quiet. Can Derick really communicate with his sister from such a long distance?
Derick asked, connecting with his sister. But she is not hearing him, her connection isn't as strong as her brother's.
When she couldn't mind-link with him, Derick opened his eyes. He looked unhappy but there's nothing he could do.
" You couldn't mind linked with her?" Isabella asked and the latter nodded. What is happening back in his pack?
"The distance between us is much perhaps," Isabella said, trying to cheer him up. She saw his mood had changed and he looked disturbed.
"I know. But I have that special gift to be able to perceive what is hap
Laura was happy. If her mother knows where Derick is, then it is much easier for her to locate him than wondering about."Tell me mum, where I can find my brother" Laura asked and Brenda was reluctant. Telling her Derick might be in Crimson's pack where Fred Wilson is the alpha and Isabella is the princess was difficult.Considering what Lukas had done to those couple, and the lives of the innocent pack members that were lost makes her feel guilty for her husband."Well, I can't be too sure. He might be there or may not" Brenda hesitated. She looked away and felt bitter for the past, a past filled with regret now, a past she wished she never participated in its unpleasant part.Laura became sullen. D
Fred stared on at the young man before him. He appeared lost and sober as well. He already knows everything about his father's burial from what Richard had told him."Old Alpha Wilson has no tomb in ranger's pack. I don't want to remember that black day lord Fred. I wish you are not asking me this question.." Derick answered politely and looked away." Then what happened to his remains?" Fred Wilson probed further. Derick has to tell him the truth. If he dares try to cover up his father's faulty attitude,he would know he is not as transparent as he had thought.Derick sighed audibly. Why is alpha Fred asking him such difficult questions? He could ask Richard and get the answers that he seek. Why asking him?&nbs
Laura left the prison and went back to the pack house. She had hardly stepped into her bedroom when her father's guards came to inform her that the alpha wanted to see her.She frowned. So her dad was now ready to see her right? She had gone to see him earlier and his guards said he doesn't want to see any one.She reluctantly stood up and followed those guards back. She met her father sitting with his legs crossed on the sofa with an expressionless face. She walked in and murmured a greeting but would not sit down. She stood with her hands across her chest and looked away.Lukas just stared at her. Was he cursed that none of his children would act reasonably when they come before him?
Derick finally concluded on one thing, plead with Isabella that she should have no hands in whatever will ensued between their parents. He wants to stay out and he would want her to agree with him to be neutral as well. He wished she would come along with him so they could relocate elsewhere and live their lives far away from these unpleasant past memories. But can that ever come true, is it something that he and Isabella can achieve? She's an only child and the Lycan queen. These two reasons might make it hard or totally impossible for her to leave her pack. Her parents will want her to take over the pack from them. He can't force his will on her and her parents.
Doesn't her brother has this special gift of communicating from afar? No matter where he is, he could communicate with his loved ones. But he had never succeeded in communicating with any of them except once when he schooled in the city and mum was ill.He returned and said he felt mum was ill and her connection with him became weak. He came back to check on them. And her mother was truly not well at the time. Perhaps he could read their thoughts from afar even if she couldn't connect with him.She would like to see if it works. And if not, she must find a way out. She can't remain in confinement and her mother locked up in the dungeon.
Without waiting for her mother to respond or object, she stood up from the dinning table and went into her Chambers.Fred Wilson watched his daughter go and didn't stop looking in the direction she took until she disappeared through the staircase." You heard her Fred?" Erica asked, as she kept looking at her husband who seemed to keep staring at the retreating back view of their daughter. She expects that he would call her back and cautioned her or make her see reasons why she should listen to her but he didn't say anything. He let her go and even stare at her leaving. She frowned and waited for her husband to give her a reply.Fred chu
She least expected her favorite guard to come and see her. She saw him coming to her with a lunch pack. He was bringing her breakfast? When he arrived at her dungeon, one of the prison guards accompanied him to see the prisoner. They all were afraid of what the alpha was capable of doing to them. The guards positioned at the dungeon when the last prisoner escaped, courtesy of the Alpha's son himself, never live to tell the story. They have been executed by the alpha all of them except Richard who is said to have escaped with the prince as well.No one knew when they were killed. The rumour was that they were sent out of the pack and killed at the borders, their bodies thrown as food for wild an
This is his father's handwriting. He could recognized it at a glance. What is the meaning of this, that his father now sends him a message. He went through the few lines of what his father had written and a wicked grin appeared on his lips. His father must be joking. He had predicted his father already. The man would do all he can to see that he returns back to the pack. Especially now that Fred Wilson had sent him a threatening message of attack. He must have been dreaming if he think he could deceive him to return. He is not the type that his father can easily deceive. If he dares to do what he threatened him of doing, as written in the letter, he would commit a great sin that he may never ge
