“Congratulations Luna, you are five weeks pregnant with the alpha's heir” Doctor James announced to me as he handed over the pregnancy test results to me heartily.

I could see the excitement on his face but it was no match for mine. Finally, I am able to give my husband an heir after so many years. Thanks to his support and asking me not to give up.

Alpha Vincent has been my husband and the Alpha of Moonstone pack for so many years. He's always loved me even though sometimes he acts distant. I knew it was because of the workload and the pressure from the pack elders asking us to give them an heir.

I have always wished to carry his child at least once. And now, the moon goddess has answered my wishes. I was on my way to my hometown on a business trip without his knowledge. I only lied to him that I was going for my infertility treatment outside the country.

Alpha Vincent was not aware of my identity as an heiress and the future Luna to the Triple moon pack. I've hidden my identity for four good years as my father wished. When I first defied his orders and decided to marry Vincent, the man I loved, he made a rule that if my marriage could last for five years with a child, I could come back and claim my inheritance, including revealing my true identity to Vincent.

I've loved Vincent secretly for years before deciding to pursue him. Vincent has always seen me as a mere housewife before my appearance. Only if he knew how much I'd supported him behind his back for years.

Even when my father refuses, because he thinks Vincent was a bad man just like his father. In the past, my father had an encounter with Vincent's father so he decided to declare enmity between them. Therefore his reason to hate Vincent and refuse my marriage with him.

I stared at the pregnancy results again with excitement recalling how I'd found out. While at the airport I had the same nauseous feelings as I've always had these past few weeks so I decided to get a test done. Now, it's been confirmed, I am carrying his child. I rubbed my stomach slowly. “Let's go meet your daddy” I said in a whisper as excitement took over me.

I walked out of the office with the results in my hands, heading towards the car. “Luna, it's almost time for the flight to take off” My driver informed me.

“We're no longer going for the meeting. Call Gwen and ask her to fill in for me today. I have some good news to share with my husband” I said to him.

I stared out at the window right after reading my father's text messages. I'd disappointed him by not coming for the business banquet again. It was supposed to be a three day event. I knew he wanted to introduce me to the man whom he sees as a potential suitor for marriage.

He'd tried to betroth us before. Alpha Dominic of the Western pack, my father's favorite man. My father has always wanted to introduce us and see if we could work things out. But I was already married and not interested in an arranged entanglement.

I responded to his text, apologizing for not being able to attend the banquet today again. It would take another three months before a banquet would be held again in the pack. Extending my father's attempt to hook me up with his so-called suitable man.

We finally reached the pack house but as I stepped down from the car, something felt off. My chest started to ache so badly, I worried so much for my kid. I rubbed my stomach, begging my baby to hang on while we go find daddy.

I walked into the mansion, my chest ached the most and then I realized that something might've happened to Vincent. “Argh!” I exclaimed as another shocking pain hit my chest, making me unable to walk properly.

After struggling for a while, I made my way to our bedroom but Vincent wasn't there at all. The room was scattered, it seemed like a fight happened in here.. What is really going on? I asked myself as I exited the room. Only to meet a maiden with a shocked glare on her face.

“L.. Luna, you're back!” She exclaimed.

I tried to hide my pain as I stared at her. “W.. where is the Alpha?” I questioned her, stuttering..

“Luna, are you alright?” She asked me, but I was in no games for her silly questions.

“Where is my husband?” I questioned her again more intensely. And the fearful stare on her face returned.

“The Alpha…. I saw him heading to the annex building. But I think he's got company” she added.

“Someone's with him? Who?”

She shrugged, not knowing who they were.

I found my way there, hoping that nothing's happened to Vincent. I prayed deeply to the moon goddess to save him from harm. While I reached the first room in the annex building, I checked and there was no one there.

I moved forward to check the second. But then, the pain struck my chest again.. “Vincent.” I called out as I opened the door right in front of me.

Vincent was there, having sex with the woman he introduced to me as his cousin some time ago.
