I walk away, feeling rejected and disappointed. I am almost sure Kane was about to kiss me, but he pulled away as If I was disgusting…. or worse, cursed.

I didn’t think he looked at me that way, but I was obviously mistaken.

“Hurry up, Mia!” Loki smiles and I smile back, running towards the magical blue water. I grin as I jump in and he catches me, holding me close in the water. “This is amazing,” he whispers, as we float together.

“So, what happened?” Finn asks me. “What did she say?” he says as he gives a stern look to Loki and he lets go of me, treading back a little.

What is with this Alpha and Beta?! Loki isn’t a threat to me.

I smile as I glance back at her grave, “She showed me what happened here and how the guardian pack and her pack are connected. She showed me her betrayal and death.
