Chapter 344

Holly didn't have time to react as she felt herself getting tugged into an embrace.

His arm felt like a metal band against her waist, gripping her tightly.

Holly knew that was Abelin's arm.

He had a refreshing scent of soap about him. It was quite nice.

Holly kept falling and falling. Her legs found no purchase anywhere as gravity dragged her down.

She could hear the wind whistling against her ears and people screaming.

The screaming was cut off abruptly—not even an echo could be heard.

Time traveled strangely as they fell. It seemed as though mere seconds or decades had passed by the time she stopped falling.

Abelin had cushioned her fall. When they came to a stop, she could hear him inhaling sharply.

The only thing that greeted them was a void of inky darkness. She had no clue where their flashlights had gone.

Holly's voice had a slight tremor as she questioned in worry, "Mr. Gabelman, are you alright?"

Abelin replied calmly, "I'm fine. Don't move. There might be some trap
