Arden and Cohen sit in the private room of the club. It is not the same club that Hayden lost his life, much less the same room. This club is much more subdued, and it is always Draven’s go-to when he actually makes an attempt to socialize, for the other three brothers and even their father, it is classified as the most boring of the countless venues under their banner but as like most things, it serves a particular purpose and no one ever opposes Draven's suggestion on the limited few times he actually makes one.

The music in the room is at a dull beat, barely even audible, the light is dulled as much as it can be with the fixtures, but it is still much brighter than required to give the usual comfortable drinking atmosphere.

    Valen rubs his hands down his face. He has done it so many times in the past half an hour that he's scared at least one layer of skin has been removed with the rigorous motion. He might actually have at some point. He just can’t feel it and, with the situation in front of him now, he couldn't care less if he rubbed off every layer until his jaw bone is showing. He isn't sure if he would even feel it at all. It still wouldn’t be his biggest loss of the day.Arden has calmed down enough and has taken a seat and finally managed to explain a little more clearly.     The pack doctors' words are enough to get a few people in the crowd rushing forward to help. Some people are tearing off their sodden clothing to try and bandage the wound, others are grabbing her body and transporting her quickly towards the pack hospital, not caring that she was supposed to die and Arden had every intention of killing her. If there is a chance to save her, then they need to do it. This is autumn pack lands and considering who she was supposed to be in this place, they need to do all they can. Arden’s rule means little here; there was no fair trial, and it really just seemed like she was collateral damage.
