"So...That was my send off ceremomy?"

I asked as i looked around the living room filled with my families and friends.

My father nods as he holds on to his tearful mate in a thight embrace, holding her back from jumping over the table to hold me.

Mirroring their position, i sat next to my mate who refused to let go of my hand and Marcy was sitting at my other side, totaly a crying mess.

I had my feet inside an ice water to let the pain cool off. I was feeling a lot better and the ice numbed my legs to a point that i didn't feel a single thing.

Kevin holds my hand in both of his and runs his thumb across my knuckls over and over again.

His grip thightns a bit when they explained how i died and relaxes once in a while when i explained what happened to my legs.
