i opened my eyes when the sun peeked through the closed curtin.

I groaned as i tried to strech my stiff muscles. The first thing i did after was turn to my side and stare at my sleeping mate.

He looked so peaceful and beautiful. Memories of last night came crashing on me and i blushed.

My eyes ran down his face and landed on his neck. My mark rested on the right side of his neck.

I got a little bit closer to look at what the mark had formed.

The mark looked a bit like a scar with the colour of pink-ish and red-ish vibe. Instead of a bite mark, the head of a wolf was imprinted with its head tilted up high for a howl. The wolf howls with pride making me smile.

Wolves might know that this is a mate mark butfornthise who don't know about our kind, it looks like a wolf tatoo.

I gave in to the urge to touch his mark and i reached out to trace my fingers along the wolf howling on my mates' neck.
