Alwina's pov

As I feel the crack of mom's spell push out of me, I looked up at the sky from the mere shocking force of it. The spell breaking meant only one thing. Something was wrong.

Everything had gone wrong.

Everything should've been mine. It should've been easy. She did not deserve it. I deserved it.

Years I've plotted to take her place. Killed our aunt, I can remember that day clearly. I remember how she looked at me in complete horror, calling out her name in pain.

That was the most satisfying part. Her thinking the eyes of her killer belonged to Amelia. She thought who killed her was my darling twin sister. The one who got the life I deserved.

I remember watching her eyes dull as her life slips away. I remember waiting in the house when Amelia found her. I remember staying somewhere she wouldn't see me. I remember hearing her cries for help, hearing the pain in her tears as she tried to revive the woman she thought was her mother.

That day, was the best day of my life.
