Ch 62 - Afraid of Rejection
Cassidy gasped.
It’s like she was looking at the eyes of a completely different person, yet it was the same person. She couldn’t explain the feeling to herself, and she sure as hell knew she wouldn’t be able to explain it to anyone else.
“Austin?” Calypso, Cain, Zen, and Roxanna asked in confusion. Killian wasn’t paying attention to them, but instead at the rising Prince.
“Cass is my mate? How?” Nathan asked when he was fully standing.
“Your brother’s spirit allowed you to finally recognize her as your mate,” Killian replied.
“Brother?” everyone asked in confusion.
“Nathan was born a twin, but his brother was murdered as a baby. Nathan however, wasn’t as easy to kill. No-one really knows why that was. Anyway, when the Higher Powers caught word of the injustice of Austin’s death, they kept his spirit preserved and left it with the Lycans.
