' You were lucky to have survived the first time, but you might not be so lucky this time!' Kendrick read the note posted on the gates to their house again.

'How long had Brie been receiving these notes, and why was she concealing them from him?' he asked taking the note and driving in.

He got out of his car and headed into his house. As he walked in, he could hear people arguing inside

"That belongs to me! It was left for me by my mother! Since you married that vile woman, you've never liked me. We were fine until you married the scumbag!" she yelled as a slap resounded across the room. Brie was taken aback.

"That is it! You've overstayed your welcome, Sir, and it's time for you to leave "Kendrick intervened after observing them argue for some time.

"With pleasure," her father spat as he walked out the door.

Kendrick walked up the stairs to where his wife was standing and hugged her without saying anything. He was aware that she required it.

"It'll be fine," he stroked her hair.
