I sat for a second, staring off to the side. “No, daddy I didn’t like him. I loved him, as stupid and reckless as it was. I was stupid enough to fall in love with him.” I looked back and I felt the tear, so I quickly swatted it away. “But he was always honest with me. If it was his choice…he would have chosen me. yeah, I caught that too but could be explained that Thoth could just be a friend of Rowan's. He claims he had someone spying on Verity and she was supposedly with the King. Reason she's not questioning

I completely annoyed ! ... reading should be a relaxing state of mine but this gives me anxiety because of too long waiting for another chapter to update... i hate it!
