26.1 ARCHER

Sierra has been away from school for three days. Sierra arrived for Ever's birthday celebration but only stayed for a few minutes, primarily to give Ever my gift before leaving. I never phoned Sierra that day, so I had no idea she came, not because I don't care, but because I don't want to ruin her mood. I merely told her that if she wanted to attend Ever's party, that's fine with me, and made her bring my gift for him.
I went to Sierra's house the day after Ever's birthday because she didn't go to school that day. I was about to ask her why she didn't go, but then I spotted her from a distance through the large glass windows of their shop, talking with a lady in her twenties. Based on the irritated expressions on their faces, they appeared to be in a misunderstanding. I believe she was speaking to Emmy, her cousin.

I tousled my hair and slumped back in my chair, defeated by my own love for her. "Can you tell me what you want to talk about?" I asked gently. September 27, 2016I'm currently having dinner with my entire family at the dining table. Bryon returned home to tell our parents that he had passed his exam, and this dinner is a sort of celebration for him as well. For the first time, dad applauded him even when he wasn't smiling, while mom was overjoyed. I congratulated him as well, but it was the first and only statement I said to him, and we didn't say anything else to each other after that. He also still didn't inform Dad about my relationship with Sierra, as if he had forgotten about it, which is pretty weird, but I'm still relieved that he didn't. He will also return to the city tomorrow morning.It's six o'clock at night, and I left Sierra's place right after class since I didn't want mom and dad to worry why I was late if I lingered too long in her place. "Just stop! Stop!" When I opened my eyes and heard a banging noise, I saw mom's fist hit the table and scream so loudly. "Why do you have to aggravate matters, Arthur? Oh, how I wish we could have a peaceful meal just once! But you're continuously coming up with new ways to ruin us! I'm so tired of this!" She removed Bryon's hold on her shoulders and stood up. Dad also stood up, he looked so offended."What are you talking about? I'm likewise sick of trying to understand your children's idiocy, especially your youngest! September 27, 2016I took pain relievers for my headache, yet it still hurts because of my wound. I was also tired of walking, but all of that seemed to evaporate when I arrived at Sierra's house. I looked at my wrist watch and noticed that it was exactly nine o'clock in the evening; there were only a few people on the road, but they all appeared to be chasing the time.
