I opened the door to meet Lilly watching Tv, she looked at me from head to toe. “Why are you—”

I raised my hands, cutting her off. “I’m not in the mood for your questions, where’s mum and dad?”

“They went to the hospital for Dad's checkup," she grumbled, facing her Tv frowning.

I was heading straight up to my room when Lilly shouted that Reese was in my room.

Just great!

I had been avoiding her since and today of all days she decided to show up. It was high time I faced her.

I opened the door, throwing my bag on the table, and collapsing on the bed. I saw Reese on the chair, she paused the movie she was watching on her laptop, shooting daggers at me.

“I’m sorry for ghosting you’, I pouted.

“Nuh uh, don't give me that look, I ain't letting you off the hook that easily”, she shook her head at me.

“You should also be apologizing for also not telling me you were in a relationship, you made me look like a fool setting all those dates for you which you never went on, now I know why”,
