Analisse had been spending a lot of time in Vee's house lately. And that was how I knew her father was getting discharged today. Ana had bought some balloons and ranted about the dinner they were having after.

I had just finished with work and was bored. The truth actually was that I was missing Veronica's presence. In just a few days of meeting her and she had had this much impact on me enough to affect my day.

I was going to handle her father's hospital bills so I decided to do it in person. I knew I could easily do that without actually going there but I wanted to, in hopes that I would catch a glimpse of her. I would go to the office after to drop off some documents too

I quickly got ready, grabbed my keys and bag, and headed out. I intentionally was driving slow, contemplating if I should really go or not.

I arrived and parked my car. I was here now and there was no going back.
