Chapter 15; The escape

Fiori (POV)

"Stay here Fi. Don't move until I tell you to do so, please" Leo warned sternly as he tiptoed back outside

After running for so many miles, I couldn’t handle it anymore

Leo still remained silent about whatever was going on. He just took me to some uncompleted building and asked to me stay there for the time being

My heart was racing like never before. Because I could still hear the gunshots once in a while.

At this point, I didn’t need anyone to tell me we were being chased. But by who?

What have we done wrong? Why would someone just chase us for no reason? Or Leo is hiding something from me?

I sighed out helplessly at the thought of this and coiled myself up in one corner of the cracked room. Leo had gone outside, and there was no sign of him anywhere close
