As soon as they stepped into Alex’s suite, Ethan yanked his hand free.

''What the hell, Alex?'' He snapped. ''Why did you pull me like that?''

Alex’s eyes burned with frustration. ''Where were you? Why were you gone so long?''

Ethan scoffed, arms folded. ''Didn’t you see me leave with my friend? We were catching up. And honestly, I didn’t even drink much—because I knew you’d act like this.''

He exhaled sharply, weariness etched into his face. ''I’m exhausted. I don’t have time for this. If you want to scold me, save it for tomorrow.''

He turned to leave.

But Alex grabbed his hand again—firm, unrelenting—and pulled him back.

Ethan spun around, startled.

Alex’s voice was low, trembling with emotion. ''You have no idea how worried I was. How jealous I got… just thinking about you with someone else.''

Ethan froze, stunned by the confession.

Before he could speak, Alex stepped closer, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. ''You're slowly driving me insane.''
