Zara’s POV

I had not seen Xander since he left the way he did last night and I had not managed to get the feeling of his body against mine, it was everything I had dreamt of and more but that was not my biggest problem right now, it was the fact that Xander was my mate and I had no idea how to handle this new information I had found out.

My thoughts were disturbed when someone sat on the chair next to me, turning my head, I realized it was Xavier.

“I will have whatever she is having” he said to the bartender who gave him a nod and went to carry out his order.

“Is there any reason why you are seated here just drinking alone like some sad sap??” he asked me.

“I am not in the mood to listen to you Xavier, just leave me the hell alone” I said and took a sip from my whisky glass, the liquid burned my throat and settled in my belly, I liked the feeling.

“Whenever you are like this, I am sure it has to do with Mr. Perfection, am I right or am I right?” he said and thanked the barte
