Maria’s POV

I had been in my room on the floor on the same spot I had been when Ethan left earlier, I could not bring myself to move, I had like the worst sort of person as I had pleaded with him to spare my spare my murderous mother, I could see the pain in his eyes and still I had gone ahead to do it.
