I splashed. I splashed water on my face as many times as I could. I was panting hard, my tears won’t just stop. My red-rimmed eyes were stoned at my face through the mirror. I was trying to find myself in those lost pairs, but it was like I had lost myself with my virginity. There was pressure on my chest. My mind raced with ideas to escape him but all of them looked impossible as of now. I turned off the water faucet and rested my hands on the slab, burying my head in my chest.
Just as I gave up on fighting with the universe's will over my own, my ears erected when a vibration occurred nearby me. I looked all around, locating where the vibration was coming from and spotted it was one of the drawers on the other side, near a dirty-clothes basket. I opened the third drawer and pushed away some clothes and found a phone with an upcoming call by a private number.
This was it. This was my chance. I felt high hopes
