At the department, a nice woman secretary helped me fill out all the necessary papers and even promised that she would bring them to the dean's office herself. Well, just a messenger of the Most Bright, compared to old Fester, or whatever it is. I profusely thanked her and, having made a few compliments to her dress, went to check into the hostel.

The road to the hostel would have taken about five minutes, if I did not freeze in admiration every now and then at the sight of the backyard of the main building. The building itself was not rectangular, as I thought, but U-shaped. Inside the backyard was a huge monument to Marner the First, in his right hand he held a sword pointed at the sky.

I hate.

Barely restraining myself from spitting, I walked along the wide alley towards the hostel. Everything around was incredibly well-groomed, obviously, the order is closely monitored here. Lampposts were decorated with openwork monograms, similar ones I saw on the backs of the benches that I cam
