5-Wedding photos

Elizabeth pulled out a black card from her wallet, smiled, but spoke seriously, "Don't worry, I'm not kidding. I can afford it. I'm kept by a rich man, so don't worry!"

"Queen Lizzy, are you starting another shopping spree?" Theresa felt a little heartbroken when she heard her friend casually mention being kept by a rich man.

"Tess, you are late again? I'm starving to death! I won't make plans to eat with Ms. Norman again, she's too high-end!" Elizabeth turned to look at her, greeted her, then handed the sales clerk the signed bill and gave an address, "Just send it here when it's ready."

"There's a new restaurant upstairs that's pretty good. I made a reservation when I came, we can go and eat now!" Theresa, who had no words for foodies, looked at her with disdain.

...

Theresa held the orange juice in her hand, took a sip, and looked at her friend still immersed in the joys of food, unable to help but say, "You foodie, I didn't realize you were so obsessed with exploring gourmet food. Also, all you know is buying brand names, I haven't seen you wear them a few times!"

"Buy so much, and if you don't like it when you get home, just return it! Don't you know that there's a 14-day no-reason return policy here, dear!" Elizabeth finished the last kernel of cheese corn and shamelessly retorted.

Theresa couldn't even be bothered to roll her eyes and continued drinking her orange juice.

"Oh, by the way, I heard that there's a hot actress who's been involved with your husband lately. Do you want me to take care of her?" Elizabeth asked eagerly, her eyes sparkling.

The two had been friends for almost ten years, with similar personalities. They had worked together many times in college to take care of people who were causing trouble, both openly and behind the scenes, and became famous throughout the school.

"Well, she's an actress," Theresa nodded. Although she had suppressed the news, some pictures had been exposed on Twitter. There was nothing she could do about it. "Take care of her? There's no need. That would make me look petty."

"What about your husband? What did he say?" Elizabeth asked again.

"What can he say? He keeps saying the same things over and over again, 'Are you going to divorce me?' 'Do you want to divorce me?' Lizzy, you know I could never do that. I don't agree, so he can only fumble around. Now that our two companies are merging, it's not as easy to just separate. Besides, he only has feelings for..."

When Theresa got here, she lowered her eyes, as if some emotion had come up. When she raised her head again, her eyes were clear. "He won't really fall in love with these women. It's just a fling."

After listening, Elizabeth didn't say anything to agree or disagree, but fell silent.

A woman's intelligence is zero when it comes to love, but her love must be analyzed so rationally. As a longtime friend, Elizabeth felt sorry for her.

...

It was two o'clock in the afternoon, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Palm trees lined the street in two rows, and the sunlight filtered through the leaves, gently swaying with the wind.

"I will remember you

Will you remember me?

Don't let your life pass you by

Weep not for the memories

Remember the good times that we had?

I let them slip away from us when things got bad

How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun

Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one

I will remember you

Will you remember me?

..."

A white Mercedes was parked on the side of the road, and the music flowed slowly in the car. This old song by Sarah McLachlan had a clean sound that was captivating.

Having dinner with a good friend and having some free time in the afternoon made Theresa feel good.

When she saw the black Cayenne approaching in the rearview mirror, she turned off the music, pulled out the key, and got out of the car just as the man opened the door.

"Are you done with your work?" Theresa walked up to him.

"Mm." William's expression was still plain as he walked to the storefront on the side of the road.

Before they even walked in, a receptionist with a beaming smile ran out to greet them. "Sir, ma'am, are you here for a girlfriend-boyfriend photos or wedding photos?"

"Wedding photos," Theresa replied.

"Well, let me recommend some options for you. I think the Rose Romance package in our store would be perfect for you. We have a professional dressmaker here, and this package offers a 1:1 scene in 2D and 3D, with the option to choose an outdoor setting, 108 finely edited photos, negatives included, an 80-inch Italian relief frame, and a 60-inch..."

As she caught a glimpse of the man's furrowed brow, Theresa interrupted the enthusiastic receptionist. "We'll take that package. Can we start shooting now?"

She knew William didn't like to waste time, so she had no certainty he would agree when she suggested this during his busy schedule. When he called her and said he had some time in the afternoon, she immediately canceled her entire day.

"Follow me, please!" In the past, customers who came to the store would spend half a day just consulting and negotiating prices, but this couple was efficient and generous, making the receptionist smile even brighter.

...

"Sir, hold her a little tighter, and madam, tilt your head up a bit more - great, that's it. More eye contact now..."

Inside the studio, the photographer made continuous requests to the two under the lighting board. The clicking of the shutter went up and down, and after about 15 minutes, he yelled out in satisfaction, "OK, next set!"

William walked slowly, watching Theresa lead the way out of the studio, her white wedding gown with a long fishtail trailing on the floor, adorned with roses and diamonds.

The studio lights shone on her, making her white veil look even more holy and dazzling. Even he didn't realize the stunning color in his black eyes was the same as the photographer's.

"Mama lied to me. I've never seen your wedding photos with dad! All their parents have them..."

William knew why she wanted to take these wedding photos with him. The night before, he passed by her bedroom and heard her whispering softly to their crying son.

The waiting store clerk came over and served warmly, "Miss Norman, shall we change into another wedding dress now? The puffy skirt design paired with the 3D starry background would be perfect..."

"Wait a minute," Theresa called out to the clerk with the wedding dress, "We don't need to take any more photos."

"What? But you chose the Rose Romance package, which includes 15 sets of photos! We've only taken one set!" The clerk was completely stunned and reminded her.

Theresa smiled knowingly, "No need. Actually, just one photo is enough."

The man following behind her was stunned for a moment, then his lips slowly tightened.

"Ms. Norman, we will call you to choose the photos after the initial editing is done. If there is anything more you need, please let us know! If you want to continue with the remaining 14 sets of photos after you return, we can take them for you!" The salesperson breathed a sigh of relief only after guaranteeing that the original price would be paid, but at the same time, they also felt a little indebted.

"Alright, thank you." Theresa smiled and nodded.

With the enthusiastic smile of the salesperson, the two walked out of the bridal shop and stood at the parking lot.

"I'll go to the material supplier to check and urge them, what about you, are you going back to the company?" Theresa took out the car key from her bag and asked him.

"Mm." William nodded lightly.

"Thank you for today." After a few seconds of silence, she spoke again.

She spoke sincerely, and even her eyes were sincere when she looked at him. But for some reason, William felt uncomfortable and replied stiffly, "You're welcome."

Seeing this, Theresa didn't say much, and went straight to the Mercedes-Benz.

On the other hand, William stood in place and watched her leave. His thin lips twitched, as if he wanted to ask something.

"Just one photo is enough."

Thinking of what she said to the bridal shop salesperson, the man became a little annoyed…
