"Can you tell me what's going on? Is it because Ellis rejected Vivian?" Alicia asked.

Martin remained silent and opted to take a stroll with Alicia in the garden instead. Once the butler and maid had left, Martin turned to Alicia and asked, "Allie, what do you think of Ellis?"

In response, Alicia spoke candidly, "Although we don't interact often, I believe Ellis is kind and easygoing. He's a brilliant Alpha."

Martin's face lit up with relief, "That's wonderful news! Ellis hardly speaks with the butler and other servants in the pack house. He's very strict with the pack members in the office, and even when he's with me, he acts coldly. I suspect he only shows his gentleness and kindness when dealing with you."

Alicia found Martin's assumptions to be odd, but she didn't say anything. "Don't worry, Grandpa. I'm sure Ellis will come around and see you in a different light. He'll have dinner with you, crack jokes, and be more personable."
