'Will you die or succeed? My last few glimpses didn't have you in it. I will see why today!' Ren's eyes were beaming with excitement. The connection to their souls growing more and more with each passing second.
"What!? Why would you do that!?" Melinda grabbed his hand and pulled it tightly. "We have not even moved forward much. I do not want to be a widow. I do not want you two to die!"
Ren gave her a squeeze back. He did not look away from Zia. After all, she was with him much longer than Melinda had been.
*Woom, wooom, woooom!* Ion Energy from the outside gathered behind Ren. All going to one other who never looked away. Jackson couldn't look away either. Something about the process reminding him of a vacant past.
