"Happy?" he asked, his deep voice instantly comforting me, confirming that this wasn't a dream.

"Shut it," I mumbled, burying my face in his chest before sighing and stepping back.

I lightly smacked his chest, then ran a hand down my face. "You scared me," I told him with a serious tone. He shrugged, adjusting the beanie on his head before sitting on my bed. He opened his arms, silently inviting me, but I hesitated. Eventually, I gave in and walked closer to him. He took my hand, pulling me down until I was straddling his lap. My cheeks blushed intensely, and his arms encircled my waist, preventing me from getting up. He buried his face in my neck, letting out a sigh. "Stop doing that," I told him, pulling away to look at his face. He reached up, gripping both sides of my face with his hands.

"Don't let my lifestyle blind you," he said huskily, implying that I shouldn't let his actions change how I see him. To me, he would always be the same person.
