Adler sighed as he pulled out another pack of his cigarettes from his pocket. He broodingly stared at the view of the city. The lights were already switched on in every building and pavement even though the sun was just setting and the curtains of the night were yet to fall entirely.

A window exposed what was going on in one of the buildings in front of where he was standing. An old man with a large, protruding stomach whose face was fierce red and the veins on his neck thickening against his skin as if they'd close to popping.
