Snow gazed at her notebook, a sigh escaping her lips. She felt safe and calm, as this was the only place where she found peace—the library.
Every other student was busy in the cafeteria having lunch, but here she was, reading and not touching a meal. Although her stomach grumbled in hunger, she just had to stay still. His chilly look still frightened her; if she took a step, she would be bullied and end up like always—either injured or hospitalized. She was just fifteen years old, studying among older wolves. It wasn't easy. The mocking gazes from others and Logan's bullying were enough to crush her. "Look who we have here; if it isn't the lowly omega," Tiffany said, her hands folded under her breasts and a smirk on her lips. She was Logan's toy and essentially known as the next Luna, the girl he had been with the longest. "Please, I don't want trouble," Snow muttered, and Tiffany laughed before glaring at her. "Did she just order me?" she asked her friends, Valerie and Rose. "She did," Valerie replied, and Snow bit her bottom lip, her hands trembling from fear and her gaze fixed on the dusty floor. "I didn't mean that," she muttered softly, her voice barely a whisper. "We should teach her a lesson. What do you think, Luna?" Rose added, her gaze shimmering and awaiting an answer from Tiffany. "Hmmm, no fun," she stated. Tiffany, being all mighty about herself, made others address her as Luna; after all, she was the only girl in Logan's life—the Alpha's son. "Hey, omega!" Tiffany yelled, and Snow trembled, sweat trickling down her face, her lips sealed together. "Go get me an espresso, and it better be outside of school. I don’t care if you sneak out; just don’t get caught. If you do, it’ll be ten times the pain you’ll receive when you get back," Tiffany warned, flashing a smile at Snow. A smile that sent shivers down her spine. "Okay," she murmured and stood up to her feet, her legs rushing out of the library. She could practically feel her heart beating with fear and paranoia. Snow didn't want to hurt anyone; she basically liked keeping to herself and hardly ever told her parents how she was bullied at school. "You have fifteen minutes!" Valerie yelled, and Snow's eyes widened. Fifteen minutes was too little for an average wolf like her, especially when she was wolf-less yet. Snow knew she had to sneak out of the school and use her savings to pay for the espresso. She walked to the school's back gate, her steps gentle and quiet so as not to attract anyone's attention. Her movements were smooth and sly; this wasn't her first time sneaking out. Tiffany had basically made her a stealth dog who sneaked out. She was usually lucky, as no one would catch her, but this time, luck wasn't on Snow's side. "What are you doing?" Imogen asked, her gaze fixed on Snow's extended leg and a furrowed, knowing brow on her face. "Nothing," Snow muttered, her voice barely a whisper and her hands entwined. Imogen's gaze roamed around Snow; she had seen this girl being bullied by Logan and his disgusting girlfriend. She noticed the mark on her neck, and a frown settled on her face. "Who hit you?" she asked, and Snow froze, her thoughts trailing back to weeks ago when Logan had thrown a book at her, the scar still visible on her neck. It had hurt, but being good at hiding her feelings, she kept it a secret; it still hurt to this day. She didn't say a word, trying to evade the question. Imogen frowned; she had guessed it was Logan, the alpha's son who took joy in bullying others, especially Snow. She was little and timid, tended to let others get on her nerves, not saying a word while taking unfair treatment and still smiling. She had always disliked Logan, especially because of his bullying nature. She kept wondering when they would ever grow up from their bullying ways. Imogen gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. She had watched Snow take thousands of hits and had saved her many times, but those bullies were still the same. She was going to end things here, even if it meant making Tiffany lose her teeth. "Don't go anywhere," Imogen said, and Snow nodded her head in agreement, as she didn't want to sneak out anyway. However, the thought of Imogen's next move invaded her mind. "Where are you heading?" she asked, her tone soft and shy. "Just stay out of sight, no matter what," Imogen added, walking away. Her words piqued Snow's interest, and she heaved a sigh; she just didn't want any issues. Imogen walked into the library, feeling the intense gazes of the girls on her; they had thought she was someone else. Tiffany rolled her eyes upon sighting Imogen, the troublemaker who always found a way to disrespect her and Logan; she was an annoying rebel. "What is it this time?" Tiffany said lazily, and Imogen crossed her arms. "Haven't you had enough?" she questioned, and Tiffany yawned before glaring at her. "Five minutes to talk; I won’t listen to your nonsense for long," she stated, making Valerie and Rose smirk. "Wipe that smirk off your faces, puppets," Imogen shot back, and both girls frowned. She turned her gaze to Tiffany. "It's enough that you've had your fun; let the omega be," she half-yelled, and Tiffany frowned. She stood up from her seat and approached Imogen. "You should talk to your Luna with respect, or should I humble you?" she warned, and Imogen chuckled softly. "We have a Luna, and that’s surely not you. You know what? Logan's going to dump you like every other girl, and when he does, I will be the first to laugh in your face." She stated and Tiffany frowned. She raised her hand in the air to slap Imogen but her hands were caught midway. "Fake Luna mind who you want to touch, I will fucking break your hands" Imogen warned and Tiffany gritted her teeth in anger. She would make this bitch beg for mercy, and she would make Logan help her with that, after all having power was really good especially when it comes to being with the Alpha son. Snow patiently waits for Imogen to arrive, hearing loud heavy footsteps behind her. "Imog....... Her words cut short, as her eyes trembled slightly on sighting the figure staring at her. Her hand slumped in fright and shock.“But for some reason… you feel really familiar,” Snow said, narrowing her eyes.Mari’s calm cracked instantly.“No—” she breathed.********************“Hmm, okay then,” Snow muttered, and Mari’s eyes softened. The panic in her heart calmed instantly. She bit her lip and stared as Snow walked to a nearby tree log, sitting neatly on it. She wasn’t too close, yet not too far either. Her eyes dropped with something dangerous—heavy. Why was an omega like her making Mari feel so useless? She cursed under her breath. No wolf—not even the Alpha’s son—had ever made her feel the towering exhaustion she was feeling right now. With a sigh, she slumped to the dirty ground. She didn’t care anymore. She needed rest—to gather her strength.Snow stared into the woods, her mind drifting. That day… had she felt someone else’s pain? She hadn’t thought much of it then, but the memory kept resurfacing. Maybe it meant something.Amanda had recently visited her—the restaurant owner who once called her the M
“Family is family, but not all family are related by blood, Snow. Who fed you? Who clothed you? Who loved you despite everything? That’s family. The ones who helped you. It depends on how you choose to see it. And the Alpha…”“He never once acted like I was his son.”**************"But I'm still sure—""Hey! Let’s continue the journey. The sky looks clear," Mari yelled from behind, and they both turned.Mari was standing there, her hands on her waist and her gaze fixed on them. She looked like she was up for an adventure—but clearly itching to stir something up. If anyone could read her thoughts right now, Mari would’ve been banished to the moon.Logan didn’t say a word. He simply marched toward Mari, while Snow watched him go, biting her lip. She had wanted to say more—so badly—but Mari ruined it all.Logan’s mood looked grim. He was clearly angry or deep in thought. Maybe she shouldn't have brought up his family. But Luna Gianna really was a good person. Snow wasn’t so sure about t
It came from Snow. That meant...Snow had a darker side. A much darker side. One Mari was dying to witness.***************A smile curled on Mari’s lips. Wasn’t Snow the pure, fragile type? What the hell was she seeing? That side of Snow—Mari liked it. She wanted to provoke it. She wanted it out, so badly. She slipped her hands back into her skirt pockets, and her smile vanished as she dejectedly walked toward Logan.“Has Snow always been like that?” she muttered out of the blue, and Logan turned his gaze to her.“As how?” he asked, and Mari pressed her lips together, trying to pique his interest.“She seemed... feisty,” she added, pausing. Her eyes trailed toward Snow, and her lips parted slightly.“But in a darker way,” she mumbled, and Logan paused.Snow—dark? That didn't sound right. She was more of the soft type. Even if she did have that side, there had to be a reason. Still, he didn’t think the past should have a hold over her. It was over. Clearly.“What did you say to her?”
Logan shifted his gaze toward Mari. His expression darkened. There was something off about her energy—something he didn’t like. Not one bit.*******************Mari flashed a smile at Snow and walked toward them. She climbed over the uneven lumps on the ground and held onto Snow’s hand to help her up.She could’ve jumped over the log, but she just wanted to touch Snow’s hand. When she did, she’d be able to sense the powers Snow held. The moment their hands touched, everything paused. She felt... nothing. Her once-racing heart calmed instantly, though some thoughts still lingered with uncertainty. It was strange. Last time, Snow had recovered quickly from the wolfsbane, slapped Tiffany, and her energy had felt off. Something wasn’t right. But now, her calm heart began to accelerate again, and her grip on Snow’s hand tightened. She tried to feel deeper—but still, nothing. Finally, she gave up and let go.For now, she could only assume: maybe the omega was just tired of being bullied an
But he didn't care.“He can do whatever he wants, as long as it doesn’t involve me,” he added inwardly.***************Mari’s gaze couldn’t help but trail to Snow, watching her as she picked up the grouping paper, which had been sealed neatly to avoid any exposure. But Mari’s eyes suddenly flashed a different color when she caught sight of it—Group A. Her eyes returned to normal as she rushed to the box, quickly picking up the same number as Snow.If she wanted to find out who Snow really was, she had to stay close. And this was the perfect chance.“Everyone, unwrap your paper and go to your designated partners,” the professor announced, and everyone nodded in understanding. The sound of papers being torn filled the air, accompanied by a faint scent of the breeze blowing through the open space. As students unwrapped their papers, many frowned in frustration while others smiled. Clearly, not everyone was happy with the pairing. At that moment, Mari walked straight toward Snow.“Hey, I
His lips trailed to her nape, gently planting a soft peck there, which seemed to make make Loren shiver. She felt it—the want and the liquid that oozed between her legs. Her lips were open in ecstasy. "Ahh, hmm, oh," moans escaped her lips. She wanted more; she felt her heart thudding with desire. She wrapped her hands around his neck, pulling him closer, and her hands ran through his hair as her eyes finally shifted to those of her mate, their lips glued together, almost like a symphony. The window curtain flew in their direction as air swirled its way into the room, cooling it from the heat that emanated from them. She couldn't help but press her lips together. The want, everything, circled her body in that instant, and she couldn't help but blush. Her soft moans could be heard from the halls of the room, and as three executives walked to their Lord's Chamber, they froze.A lady, her moans, they were so loud, so clear, as if desiring every bit of their lord. They dared not interrupt
