View MoreSnow gazed at her notebook, a sigh escaping her lips. She felt safe and calm, as this was the only place where she found peace—the library.
Every other student was busy in the cafeteria having lunch, but here she was, reading and not touching a meal. Although her stomach grumbled in hunger, she just had to stay still. His chilly look still frightened her; if she took a step, she would be bullied and end up like always—either injured or hospitalized. She was just fifteen years old, studying among older wolves. It wasn't easy. The mocking gazes from others and Logan's bullying were enough to crush her. "Look who we have here; if it isn't the lowly omega," Tiffany said, her hands folded under her breasts and a smirk on her lips. She was Logan's toy and essentially known as the next Luna, the girl he had been with the longest. "Please, I don't want trouble," Snow muttered, and Tiffany laughed before glaring at her. "Did she just order me?" she asked her friends, Valerie and Rose. "She did," Valerie replied, and Snow bit her bottom lip, her hands trembling from fear and her gaze fixed on the dusty floor. "I didn't mean that," she muttered softly, her voice barely a whisper. "We should teach her a lesson. What do you think, Luna?" Rose added, her gaze shimmering and awaiting an answer from Tiffany. "Hmmm, no fun," she stated. Tiffany, being all mighty about herself, made others address her as Luna; after all, she was the only girl in Logan's life—the Alpha's son. "Hey, omega!" Tiffany yelled, and Snow trembled, sweat trickling down her face, her lips sealed together. "Go get me an espresso, and it better be outside of school. I don’t care if you sneak out; just don’t get caught. If you do, it’ll be ten times the pain you’ll receive when you get back," Tiffany warned, flashing a smile at Snow. A smile that sent shivers down her spine. "Okay," she murmured and stood up to her feet, her legs rushing out of the library. She could practically feel her heart beating with fear and paranoia. Snow didn't want to hurt anyone; she basically liked keeping to herself and hardly ever told her parents how she was bullied at school. "You have fifteen minutes!" Valerie yelled, and Snow's eyes widened. Fifteen minutes was too little for an average wolf like her, especially when she was wolf-less yet. Snow knew she had to sneak out of the school and use her savings to pay for the espresso. She walked to the school's back gate, her steps gentle and quiet so as not to attract anyone's attention. Her movements were smooth and sly; this wasn't her first time sneaking out. Tiffany had basically made her a stealth dog who sneaked out. She was usually lucky, as no one would catch her, but this time, luck wasn't on Snow's side. "What are you doing?" Imogen asked, her gaze fixed on Snow's extended leg and a furrowed, knowing brow on her face. "Nothing," Snow muttered, her voice barely a whisper and her hands entwined. Imogen's gaze roamed around Snow; she had seen this girl being bullied by Logan and his disgusting girlfriend. She noticed the mark on her neck, and a frown settled on her face. "Who hit you?" she asked, and Snow froze, her thoughts trailing back to weeks ago when Logan had thrown a book at her, the scar still visible on her neck. It had hurt, but being good at hiding her feelings, she kept it a secret; it still hurt to this day. She didn't say a word, trying to evade the question. Imogen frowned; she had guessed it was Logan, the alpha's son who took joy in bullying others, especially Snow. She was little and timid, tended to let others get on her nerves, not saying a word while taking unfair treatment and still smiling. She had always disliked Logan, especially because of his bullying nature. She kept wondering when they would ever grow up from their bullying ways. Imogen gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. She had watched Snow take thousands of hits and had saved her many times, but those bullies were still the same. She was going to end things here, even if it meant making Tiffany lose her teeth. "Don't go anywhere," Imogen said, and Snow nodded her head in agreement, as she didn't want to sneak out anyway. However, the thought of Imogen's next move invaded her mind. "Where are you heading?" she asked, her tone soft and shy. "Just stay out of sight, no matter what," Imogen added, walking away. Her words piqued Snow's interest, and she heaved a sigh; she just didn't want any issues. Imogen walked into the library, feeling the intense gazes of the girls on her; they had thought she was someone else. Tiffany rolled her eyes upon sighting Imogen, the troublemaker who always found a way to disrespect her and Logan; she was an annoying rebel. "What is it this time?" Tiffany said lazily, and Imogen crossed her arms. "Haven't you had enough?" she questioned, and Tiffany yawned before glaring at her. "Five minutes to talk; I won’t listen to your nonsense for long," she stated, making Valerie and Rose smirk. "Wipe that smirk off your faces, puppets," Imogen shot back, and both girls frowned. She turned her gaze to Tiffany. "It's enough that you've had your fun; let the omega be," she half-yelled, and Tiffany frowned. She stood up from her seat and approached Imogen. "You should talk to your Luna with respect, or should I humble you?" she warned, and Imogen chuckled softly. "We have a Luna, and that’s surely not you. You know what? Logan's going to dump you like every other girl, and when he does, I will be the first to laugh in your face." She stated and Tiffany frowned. She raised her hand in the air to slap Imogen but her hands were caught midway. "Fake Luna mind who you want to touch, I will fucking break your hands" Imogen warned and Tiffany gritted her teeth in anger. She would make this bitch beg for mercy, and she would make Logan help her with that, after all having power was really good especially when it comes to being with the Alpha son. Snow patiently waits for Imogen to arrive, hearing loud heavy footsteps behind her. "Imog....... Her words cut short, as her eyes trembled slightly on sighting the figure staring at her. Her hand slumped in fright and shock.Just as Snow was about to walk into the next room, a leg stretched out in front of her—and she tripped. She fell hard, hitting her nose in the process. Her nose was bleeding.***********Snow raised her head slightly, clueless about the fact that her nose was bleeding—she couldn’t feel any pain. But it all dawned on her when she saw droplets of blood on the ground. She immediately covered her nose, trying to prevent more blood from escaping. She stood up slowly. And there was Tiffany. She had a sadistic look on her face—like a demon that enjoyed hurting others. She clicked her tongue and eyed Snow from head to toe. She wouldn't lie—jealousy crept into her heart.Snow was petite, with shoulder-length hair. Her lips were heart-shaped, almost pouting. Her eyes were doe-like and captivating. And worst of all—her perfect skin. It was all annoying.Snow used to bleed, beg, cry… but now, it felt like she’d gained some power. It was annoying! Why? Because she thought she could get away with i
He hated the fear in her eyes. He never bullied her out of spite. It was just... he hadn’t been thinking clearly. And then—Something in Logan snapped.***************It had been days already. The weekend was over, and now every single student was back in school—back to lectures. Not only that, but a lot of high-ranking wolves were preparing for the gala, excitement rushing through their veins. The news was everywhere, but only prominent families received invitations.Imogen stared at the crowd giggling and chatting about the upcoming o activity—nothing. It was like they wanted peace, and that scared Imogen more than anything. They were cunning. Even though they looked like wolves, their abilities were beyond expectations. The fact that they were shapeshifters—able to take any form, even a human-wolf hybrid—made them dangerous. Were they preparing to strike? But when? Her thoughts drifted away when Snow’s delicate hand touched her arm. “Are you okay?” she asked, and Imogen shifted he
The bullying, the pain—maybe then she could have someone else who would love and cherish her, besides her family.“I also want a fated mate who would love me,” she thought.************It all disappeared in an instant as she reappeared back into the room, her eyes dropping slowly. She must have been crazy to think those things. No one would want an Omega to be their mate—especially not someone with a high wolf rank."Actually, not all," the voice in her head added.Snow inhaled sharply and slumped onto the bed, but froze when she heard a voice from the corner."Wow, how was the trip?" Logan asked.Snow’s eyes widened. She stood up suddenly in shock, backing into the door with a slight slam.Did he see her? Oh no. No one else could know—aside from Ace!Her thoughts spiraled and she swallowed a huge lump. She hadn’t expected him. How the hell did he even get in here?"How...long have you been there?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly...andLogan smirked."You were in a daze, talki
Snow walked back to the guest room and sat down on the king-size bed, her eyes drooping slightly, and she remembered Logan's words about the library, and a sigh escaped her lips. She stared at her hands, her lashes fluttering again. A lot of things felt really off. The library had stirred something in her thoughts, and she sniffed. Her powers were basically back—taking control, crawling on her skin, changing almost everything. She didn’t want the powers. She never asked for them. They made her fell confused, dulled her senses, and changed her. She averted her gaze to the floor. She could feel it—the intense cold atmosphere. They were back. Her eyes gradually turned cold. Her lips trembled slightly, becoming chapped. Her hair changed too, and a bitter smile curved on her lips.Great! Another thing to hide.If someone told Snow that her powers could be taken away and that she would be free, she would actually accept. Her normal, quiet life was tainted by the powers. She couldn’t control
“I know he’s your mate. When you saw Tamaya, your eyes said it all—possessiveness and jealousy. So, I’ll ask again. You aren’t seventeen, right? And… is Asher your ideal type?”**************The figure stared at Logan's room. He had already gotten the information he wanted: the library.Logan was planning to take Snow there. It could be the perfect opportunity to strike and find out more eventually. He immediately turned to leave but froze upon spotting someone—her gaze locked on him, curiosity flickering in her eyes."What are you doing here?" Head Maid Gladys asked. His lashes flickered, lips pressed tightly, and his eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for an excuse."Hmm, where are the new recruits? Did they get lost again?" the displeased voice of another maid rang in his ear.His hearing was ten times sharper than a normal wolf’s-or even an Alpha’s-so he could hear her clearly despite the distance."Well, I’m a new recruit. I got lost while following the others," he added q
"Hello, Imogen,” Luna Lyra greeted.Imogen froze. But her gaze wavered as she looked at the person standing beside Lyra.Wasn’t her cover about to be blown now?*******************Ava gazed at Imogen, her eyes flickering slightly. and she smiled. She had known something was off about her from the moment she first visited.“She must be Asher's mate,” her wolf spoke, and Ava smiled again. As long as she was someone Lyra trusted and cared about, then Asher and Snow were in safe hands.“Hi Imogen, nice seeing you again,” she added.Imogen forced a smile. Yeah, she was definitely debating in her heart how screwed she was.Yana just stared and her eyes shimmered slightly. When Imogen met her gaze, it was the first time the girl ever shivered in shock.Ooh, looked like some juicy drama was brewing.Yana’s eyes lit up at the thought, and she walked to the door.“Welcome,” Yana said politely.Imogen frowned, her brow furrowing as she forced a bitter smile.“Hmm, I like her already,” Matilda wh
