Every other student was busy in the cafeteria having lunch, but here she was, reading and not touching a meal. Although her stomach grumbled in hunger, she just had to stay still. His chilly look still frightened her; if she took a step, she would be bullied and end up like always—either injured or hospitalized. She was just fifteen years old, studying among older wolves. It wasn't easy. The mocking gazes from others and Logan's bullying were enough to crush her. "Look who we have here; if it isn't the lowly omega," Tiffany said, her hands folded under her breasts and a smirk on her lips. She was Logan's toy and essentially known as the next Luna, the girl he had been with the longest. "Please, I don't want trouble," Snow muttered, and Tiffany laughed before glaring at her. "Did she just order me?" she asked her friends, Valerie and Rose. "She did," Valerie replied, and Snow bit her bottom lip, her hands trembling from fear and her gaze fixed on the dusty floor. "I didn't mean that," she muttered softly, her voice barely a whisper. "We should teach her a lesson. What do you think, Luna?" Rose added, her gaze shimmering and awaiting an answer from Tiffany. "Hmmm, no fun," she stated. Tiffany, being all mighty about herself, made others address her as Luna; after all, she was the only girl in Logan's life—the Alpha's son. "Hey, omega!" Tiffany yelled, and Snow trembled, sweat trickling down her face, her lips sealed together. "Go get me an espresso, and it better be outside of school. I don’t care if you sneak out; just don’t get caught. If you do, it’ll be ten times the pain you’ll receive when you get back," Tiffany warned, flashing a smile at Snow. A smile that sent shivers down her spine. "Okay," she murmured and stood up to her feet, her legs rushing out of the library. She could practically feel her heart beating with fear and paranoia. Snow didn't want to hurt anyone; she basically liked keeping to herself and hardly ever told her parents how she was bullied at school. "You have fifteen minutes!" Valerie yelled, and Snow's eyes widened. Fifteen minutes was too little for an average wolf like her, especially when she was wolf-less yet. Snow knew she had to sneak out of the school and use her savings to pay for the espresso. She walked to the school's back gate, her steps gentle and quiet so as not to attract anyone's attention. Her movements were smooth and sly; this wasn't her first time sneaking out. Tiffany had basically made her a stealth dog who sneaked out. She was usually lucky, as no one would catch her, but this time, luck wasn't on Snow's side. "What are you doing?" Imogen asked, her gaze fixed on Snow's extended leg and a furrowed, knowing brow on her face. "Nothing," Snow muttered, her voice barely a whisper and her hands entwined. Imogen's gaze roamed around Snow; she had seen this girl being bullied by Logan and his disgusting girlfriend. She noticed the mark on her neck, and a frown settled on her face. "Who hit you?" she asked, and Snow froze, her thoughts trailing back to weeks ago when Logan had thrown a book at her, the scar still visible on her neck. It had hurt, but being good at hiding her feelings, she kept it a secret; it still hurt to this day. She didn't say a word, trying to evade the question. Imogen frowned; she had guessed it was Logan, the alpha's son who took joy in bullying others, especially Snow. She was little and timid, tended to let others get on her nerves, not saying a word while taking unfair treatment and still smiling. She had always disliked Logan, especially because of his bullying nature. She kept wondering when they would ever grow up from their bullying ways. Imogen gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. She had watched Snow take thousands of hits and had saved her many times, but those bullies were still the same. She was going to end things here, even if it meant making Tiffany lose her teeth. "Don't go anywhere," Imogen said, and Snow nodded her head in agreement, as she didn't want to sneak out anyway. However, the thought of Imogen's next move invaded her mind. "Where are you heading?" she asked, her tone soft and shy. "Just stay out of sight, no matter what," Imogen added, walking away. Her words piqued Snow's interest, and she heaved a sigh; she just didn't want any issues. Imogen walked into the library, feeling the intense gazes of the girls on her; they had thought she was someone else. Tiffany rolled her eyes upon sighting Imogen, the troublemaker who always found a way to disrespect her and Logan; she was an annoying rebel. "What is it this time?" Tiffany said lazily, and Imogen crossed her arms. "Haven't you had enough?" she questioned, and Tiffany yawned before glaring at her. "Five minutes to talk; I won’t listen to your nonsense for long," she stated, making Valerie and Rose smirk. "Wipe that smirk off your faces, puppets," Imogen shot back, and both girls frowned. She turned her gaze to Tiffany. "It's enough that you've had your fun; let the omega be," she half-yelled, and Tiffany frowned. She stood up from her seat and approached Imogen. "You should talk to your Luna with respect, or should I humble you?" she warned, and Imogen chuckled softly. "We have a Luna, and that’s surely not you. You know what? Logan's going to dump you like every other girl, and when he does, I will be the first to laugh in your face." She stated and Tiffany frowned. She raised her hand in the air to slap Imogen but her hands were caught midway. "Fake Luna mind who you want to touch, I will fucking break your hands" Imogen warned and Tiffany gritted her teeth in anger. She would make this bitch beg for mercy, and she would make Logan help her with that, after all having power was really good especially when it comes to being with the Alpha son. Snow patiently waits for Imogen to arrive, hearing loud heavy footsteps behind her. "Imog....... Her words cut short, as her eyes trembled slightly on sighting the figure staring at her. Her hand slumped in fright and shock.Gianna shook her head. “No... why?”The doctor’s brows furrowed. “She’s showing symptoms that only occur in wolves who have already awakened their wolf forms…”********“How’s she doing?” Luna Gianna asked.Aries offered a small smile. “She’s better. Her temperature’s gone down. It was just a fever-strange for a wolf to fall ill-but otherwise, she’s fine.”Gianna’s tense expression relaxed.“And about the wolf... did you detect anything else?” she asked.Aries adjusted his glasses. “She definitely has a wolf. It’s just that her wolf hasn’t awakened—or is choosing not to reveal herself.”Gianna’s eyes lit up slightly. She recalled Snow’s mother... Was that the reason she left her daughter here? Because Snow was different? She bit her lip gently, eyes drifting to Snow’s peaceful face. She looked so innocent, sleeping soundly.Logan had been in the room the whole time, silent, listening. He had been deeply worried moments ago, but thankfully, she was alright now.Snow shifted slightly. H
"Just know—on the day of the gala, Snow is as good as dead.""And even you… won’t be able to save her."********Although it took an hour, Luna Gianna was finally able to get Snow out of her trance. Now, she was sleeping soundly on the bed.“Hmm, was she your girlfriend?” she asked, referring to Tiffany.“Not anymore,” he replied coldly.Luna Gianna chuckled. Something about Tiffany screamed fire—there was no way a girl like that would accept a breakup so easily.“Well, good luck with that,” she said, then turned her gaze to Snow. She could sense Logan had hurt the girl. The fear in Snow’s eyes when she tried to reach for her… it wasn’t because of Gianna—but because of Logan. Her gaze had been fixed on him, full of fear and sadness.“You bullied her, didn’t you?” Gianna asked.Logan's eyes dropped, and a wave of regret twisted in his stomach. His lips pressed together tightly. He had no words to justify his actions. Deep down, he knew he'd done her wrong. Was there any way to make it
Was Logan okay? Or was he losing his mind? But just as the atmosphere began to calm, the door slowly creaked open…***********Snow felt the intensity of every gaze shifting toward the door. Her eyes sank slightly, and her lashes trembled.Logan’s eyes darkened as he stared at the entrance, the sharpness in his gaze made Snow’s body tremble in fear.Suddenly, there was a swift whooshing sound—like someone sprinting toward them.Logan moved fast. In a blink, he shielded her. A droplet of blood hit the ground, and the entire room froze. His protective action seemed to have triggered his fury. Logan’s eyes turned pitch-black—his wolf had taken over.He growled lowly, directing it at Tiffany behind him. She shivered. Her claws were out, and droplets of Logan’s blood stained the floor.A soft thud followed.Snow’s eyes widened with disbelief. Logan had protected her. She didn’t expect it—not from him.Tiffany’s fury boiled. She had walked in to find her boyfriend shielding a lowly Omega. T
She realized she had been staring far too long—just in time to notice Logan looking right at her.And behind her... Luna Gianna!**********“Ahem,” Gianna cleared her throat, and Snow shivered slightly. She turned around and met Luna Gianna’s eyes. Shock widened her gaze before she quickly looked down at the floor.“You like baking, don’t you?” Luna Gianna asked. Snow forced a smile. She usually baked at home, but only on weekends or when she craved sweets.“A little. I bake at home sometimes, in my spare time,” she replied.Gianna’s eyes lit up at her words. She smiled and walked toward Snow.“Lara, come here,” she called out. A maid in a black and white uniform with low heels approached, eyes focused on the floor.“Get me an apron,” Gianna instructed, and the maid quickly walked back into the kitchen.“Luna, who’s it for?” Snow asked curiously.Gianna chuckled, walked closer, and gave Snow a meaningful smile. “It’s for you,” she said simply.“Me? But... isn’t Logan the one baking th
"No, Luna," Snow replied quickly. "I’ll come with you... to your home."*******Snow followed behind, watching the mother and son duo. They seemed so close. She never knew Logan could be this friendly or open with his mom. All she knew of him was his harsh reputation and his clear dislike for Omegas. They got along well, and her heart dropped the moment she caught Logan glancing her way.She froze in place and nearly melted when he smiled at her. What the hell, she muttered internally."He has a nice smile," the voice in her head chimed, and Snow's eyes dimmed.Great, she thought. The voice is back. She bit her lip and kept walking until she heard Luna Gianna’s voice."Why are you walking so far behind? Come to the front," she called out, and Snow froze. Huh?Her legs refused to move until Logan reached out, not touching her skin, but gently tugging her sleeve to guide her forward. Now she walked stiffly between them, holding the basket tighter in her hand."Why are you here, Fleur?"
“Daughter,” her wolf whispered within.*******"Welcome home, sweetheart," Ava said as she walked over and enveloped Snow in a warm hug. Lyra's eyes filled with tears, and she looked down, forcing a smile."Your daughter is so cute," she complimented. Ava smiled—a cheeky smile tinged with fear."When did you arrive, Snow?" Ava asked, pausing as she gently caressed Snow’s hair."I heard you two talking," Snow replied, and both women jolted, their eyes flashing with panic."O-oh wow..." Ava stuttered with a nervous laugh, glancing at Lyra."I heard you talking about a girl. She must be your daughter, right, ma’am?" Snow asked, looking up at Lyra.Lyra froze for a moment, then forced a wide smile. Snow chuckled lightly."I won’t be back early—I have some research to handle. I will be going with Imogen," she added casually.Ava smiled, cupped Snow’s cheeks, and gave them a gentle pinch. "Be home early."Snow hummed in agreement and headed upstairs.Lyra sank into the nearest chair, lookin
