Chapter 5
Violet's pov.
Crystal's threat lingered on my skin, even when she left.
My body remained numb, and I couldn't speak a word.
Just my hands moved like robots whilst arranging the rest of my stuff, as I tried to shake off the tension her words put inside me.
Nessa was back in the room, curiosity plagued her face more than ever.
This time, I was in no mood to entertain whatever questions she had.
“What did she want from you?” She asked.
I had my back turned to her, and hugged my little fluffy worn out teddy till sleep enveloped me.
By the time I woke up, hunger pangs knackered at the pit of my stomach.
Nessa already left the room, without waking me.
So much for being the roommate that wanted to help
Thankfully, the school cafeteria is always open and it was easy to find as other students trooped towards it.
With a small plastic tray in hand I joined the queue to get breakfast.
“Oops, sorry.” I apologized to the boy in front of me.
I flinched in expectation of a haughty comeback to my apology.
Instead, I received a flashy smile revealing the perfect dentition.
He was tall and had brown hair that was parted in the centre and dimples that could kill
Ohh no, this school must be filled with hot looking guys.
“It's no problem, you must be new here, I'm Shane.” He extended a hand
I stared at his outstretched hand like a Dumbo.
“Move eyebrows.”
Someone shoved me from behind so I crashed onto Shane with all my weight.
“S,s, so sorry.” I stammered.
I was never a clumsy person.
On the bright side, I haven't gotten my breakfast yet, or I'll have to delay cleaning Shane's expensive uniform.
Shane's finger held my arms tight to save me from falling completely.
“You got a nickname already, not bad.” He teased in a sweet voice.
The colour of my face drained instantly, not him, I don't think I want him calling me eyebrows.
I manoeuvred past him, got my serving and rushed away without another word.
A humiliating morning for me.
My eyes scanned the cafeteria for a good place to sit when I caught sight of the triplets at the far end of the cafeteria, surrounded with students who stood at their beck and call.
Crystal sat on Dylan's lap, running her hands through his head while Damian had a dull guilty look in his eyes as he watched them.
Derek on the other hand was busy demonstrating his basketball skills to the jocks while the cheerleaders fawned over him.
Crystal's eyes locked on mine, her face turned into a scowl, a reminder of what she told me yesterday.
I heaved a sigh and headed for the nearest empty table.
I dropped my tray on the table so I can sit when a shrill cry escaped my lips.
“Ahhh.” I screamed, hand to my chest.
Shane had his flirty smile plastered on.
“Don't do that.” I warned him.
“Sorry,” he mumbled.
“I saw that you are alone, no friends yet I see.”
Urgh, why is he here?.
“I don't need friends.” I snapped as I pinned the fork into the spread of omelette.
“We can be friends, you know?”
As attractive as he was, I can't help but have this underlying feeling to his approach.
I slapped my hands on the table softly, before looking at his charming eyes.
“What do you want?No one's talking to me except you, so I kind of find it odd.”
He folded his arms and sucked in air through his teeth loudly.
“Tskkk, three reasons.” He put up three fingers.
“Okayyyy” I drawled slowly.
“First of all, you are incredibly pretty and I find you attractive and hard to ignore, second.” He ticked off two fingers.
“I believe we're going to be good together, partners, if you do mind.”
My heart was already doing a sprint due to his last words.
“Third, I noticed the look Crystal gave you when you walked in the cafeteria.” He ticked off his last finger.
“You mean the death stare.” I mumbled as I shoved a forkful of eggs into my mouth.
Shane shook his head slightly.
“That isn't Crystal's death stare, it's actually her scary look, I know her death stare when I see it.”
I stopped chewing for a second.
“How do you know it, were you like close friends or something?”
“Nope, cousins.”
“What?” I almost choked on my meal.
“Cousins!!”
“Don't be too surprised, we don't get along at all, we are more like eternal enemies, we will get back to that another time, as for the scary look she gave you, you have something on her, don't you?”
I blinked rapidly as the lump of food went down my throat in a slow motion.
How did he find that out?, he must know Crystal well enough to catch on to her moods.
“I don't know what you are talking about.” I lied.
He inched closer to the table, grasping the edge like he was scared to fall off.
“Come on, this is a big chance you've got. Spill what you know and it'll help end Crystal's bullying dynasty.”
I threw him a weird look, I have no interest in getting involved with Crystal, besides I owe it to Damian more not to speak than Crystal.
“Whatever, it's none of my business, and I sure as hell I'm not spilling.”
He rose to his feet, disappointment hung from his shoulders.
“You'd be doing a lot of good by not holding on to Crystal's secret, she's scared of you.”
I gave him a half hearted smile.
“I'd like to go back to my breakfast now, I've got a long first day ahead of me.”
His response was a tap on the table before wandering off.
Breakfast had already gone cold, I had no choice but to eat it, lest I starve.
The fork was midway to my mouth when I sensed a familiar presence in front of me.
“Really, Shane McKenzie. You're better off as a loner, scrawny.” Damian's annoying voice seeped into my ears.
The fork dropped on the plate in a clatter.
‘Can I just have a minute of peace to eat my breakfast?’ I screamed in my head.
“Not now, Damian, I have registration to complete.” I tried to ignore him.
As expected, my words only made Damian feel the need to irk me more.
“Humour me, Vi.” He said with all seriousness.
The pet name the triplets gave me to make me feel calm in awkward situations.
“Humor you about what? That a guy in school found it nice to talk to me suddenly seems like a crime to you?”
Damian chuckled, his hair bounced as he chuckled, it looked glossier than usual
“You're as clueless as ever, the first guy that pays you attention in school and you're already drooling.” He smirked.
My teeth clenched at the accusation.
“I wasn't drooling,”
Then I raised my chin high.
“Even if I was, I don't see how that's any of your business.”
“He's Crystal's cousin, so be careful.”
“I already know that.” I shot back, yeah, he needs to know I'm updated as well.
Damian lowered his voice before speaking again.
“What I mean is, he has the same sexual appetite as his cousin, and he definitely smelt your virginity from a mile away and can tell that you're a prude.” He laughed.
That's it, I've had enough of him, calling out my virginity like a class subject even though he was quiet about it struck my nerve
Plus, prude, I'm quite aware of every sexual talks out there.
“I'll show you prude.” I snarled.
It was payback time.
I stormed off to where Dylan and De
rek were. Crystal was still sitting on his lap.
“Buzz off maid.” Crystal jeered at me.
Ohh, I'll buzz off, not before.
“Dylan, you need to know, that Crystal and Damian are having sex.”

Chapter 4.Violet's pov.“Violet, Violet wait up.” Damian shouted after me.I acted deaf to his call. I don't know what I just saw, but I need to get far away from the triplets' apartment as soon as possible.“Violet, stop.” Damian's voice boomed as he grasped my hand roughly. His nails pierced my flesh.“Owwwwww, let go of me. I didn't see anything.” I lied, I was breathing hard and my eyes were fluttering.“We need to talk.” Damian's silver eyes pierced mine.“I have to get to my dorm, I promise you, I didn't see anything.” I tried to convince him.My face was already squinted in pain before he let go of my arm.He raked a hand through his messed up gorgeous hair.“You can't tell Dylan, okay.”I looked around to be sure he was talking to me.“Tell Dylan what?” I played dumb.“Come on Violet, you just caught Crystal and I having sex, don't act like you didn't.” I crossed a hand over my chest then pressed my glasses with my middle finger.“You mean I caught you having sex Dylan's gir
Chapter 3 Violet's pov.It was really happening, I was on my way to the prestigious Preston academy, meant for elite wolves. This wasn't a birthday gift, I think Luna Eve is trying to send me to my grave so soon.I was in the car, everything I'll be needing in the boarding school was already prepared and tossed in the truck of the car.I sat at the back, wedged between Dylan and Derek.I couldn't contain my excitement, this was one of the few times our bodies have ever come in close contact.I could savor this feeling forever.Damian already said he doesn't want to be seen coming down from the car with me.I pressed my glasses deeper into my face.“How do you intend to survive here?, everyone that attends Preston has found their wolf.” Derek gruffed.“You wouldn't survive a week at the school.”“More like a day, she wouldn't live to the end of the day. Want to place a bet?” Damian said from the front.“I'm right here guys, you can stop talking about me, and I don't need any help, I'l
Chapter 2 Violet's pov.# 17 years old.#“Urgh.” I groaned as I tried to rub sleep off my eyes.Another day to serve those horrible triplets.I have stayed five good years with Alpha Dorian and his family, longer than I have been with my other masters. Why?, Alpha Dorian and Luna Eve made sure I had no reason to, except for the triplets who made my life a living hell.Dylan, Derek and Daymon. After Alpha Dorian realised I bring only good things to his home, he and Luna Eve treated me differently from the other maids.Their wealth increased in four folds over the years.I still served them, but I enjoyed some perks like having a room to myself and going to school.I opened the door of my room to begin my daily routine only to come face to face with an angry looking Damian.“Hey scrawny, you're supposed to have my uniform ready. It's the last day of my final year as a highschooler, remember.”I rolled my eyes to show I didn't care. He's been on about that all through the holidays.“I

That's what she is.” Benjamin spat at my feet.I shifted my bruised feet to the back so his saliva doesn't mix with the wound.Benjamin was my owner, he'd owned me for the past two years of my life and now he's trying to sell me off.I can't wait to get off his hand, at the same time I still don't want to go with his huge terrifying man either.“Deal is off, I'm not buying some scrawny looking, malnourished girl for my son's. Remember, they are the future alphas of the Iron claw pack.” The huge man said.My ears perked whilst my head was bent to the ground. I knew better than to look up, else I invited a slap from Benjamin. This man was an alpha, and he has sons, as in plural.Benjamin tried to convince the alpha to buy me.“Ignore her Alpha Dorian, this tramp, as ugly as she looks, is a good luck charm, the minute she steps into your house
