Isabella's POV:

"Dad is lying? Richard isn't the one who bought Angela," I murmured, refusing to believe what my father said.

How is that possible? How can Richard Henshaw be the one who had bought my sister?

My hand trembled, anxiety coursed through my veins as I called Richard back.

"Hello," Richard's deep voice hit my eardrum, calm and soothing as always and making me feel uneasy.

"Richard, are you the one who bought my sister?" I asked with a trembling voice. The call went silent, until Richard's tone shifted to one of resentment, confirming to me that he was the one who had bought Angela.

I couldn't believe my ears as Richard said, "Tell me, why did you put your sister up for sale? You didn't think that I would visit the Dark Realm Auction tonight, did you?"

"No, I..." I was at a loss for words to explain.

"Tell me why you sold your sister? You signed the consent form and sold her against her will. Didn't you?" Richard queried me, and I couldn't believe he was ready to spend 50 m
