Kiara’s POV
“What do you mean by no,” he said with a grin, I wondered why he was making eye contact with me and smiling like a fool. He looked more evil than before. “You are a beautiful young lady you know, all you need is to add more flesh to your bones,” he said, I hated the way his eyes were wandering over my body.
‘You have to leave this place’ was what was ringing in my mind. I stood, ignoring the groan from my uncle. Before I could walk out on him, he staggered towards me and grabbed hold of my hands.
“I feel so sad, Kiara. I want you to make me happy.” I felt the alarm bell ring in my ear. How could I make him happy, I had no money to buy him things and I could not sing to save my life, if not I would have sung him some lullabies. My body shook with fear, I could not understand what had gotten over my uncle.
“Should…should I cook something for you.” I mustered the courage to ask. I hoped he would say yes so I could leave his presence because I was becoming more scared with each passing minute, I have always feared my uncle but this time it felt more deadly.
“You dumb child, I need more than just food.” He hissed
I wanted to speak but his lips found mine, he was grabbing my lips with his teeth, and I panicked and pushed him away. I felt the taste of blood in my mouth and knew I had a cut. I ran away, as fast as my feet could carry me, but I was no match for him, he grabbed my waist and lifted me to his shoulders. I kicked him, I screamed as loud as I could, and my heart pounded against my chest as he dropped me on his bed.
“Please uncle, please,” I said, my eyes clouding with tears. Somehow I knew what he was about to do to me, but I hoped and prayed he would never do such, I was his niece after all.
He was my uncle he shouldn't be doing this my brain screamed. “Uncle please,” I shouted but he smacked me across the face. He was too strong for my small fist and legs, I watched in horror as my uncle devoured me. I was too numb when he finished, words failed me, my family failed me, I failed myself was all I could think of. I hate you mama was the last thought that crossed my mind.
*************
“Get out of my room. I knew you were a witch. First, you killed your mother and grandfather, and now look what you made me too.” my uncle shouted.
I was too stunned to speak, my whole body ached and my heart bled, but the man who had caused me all this pain was blaming me for everything.
“It was the devil Kiara.” he started to weep, then his face changed to a scowl before he stood up and started to pace the room.
I panicked as he came back to where I was, I could feel thick liquids around my private area, I saw the blood on the bed and swooned, I knew I was surely going to die after this. “You have to clean up. And get rid of those clothes.” he pointed at my ripped underwear and clothes. I could barely move and just stared blankly at the wall.
“Don’t make me angry, you made me do these. You seduced me, you knew I was sad from my breakup with Jessie. You have always been jealous of her.” he shouted and dragged me out of the bed. My mind barely registered what he was saying, I felt numb, nauseous, and worthless.
“Take a shower and make sure you wash yourself very well. Don't bother about the clothes, I will take care of them.” he almost pushed me into the bathroom and jammed the door behind him. Almost immediately, he returned with some fresh clothes and placed them into my hands. “Put this on once you have bathed.” he left again and this time, he shot the door gentler.
I dropped the new clothes on an empty basket in the bathroom and turned the shower valve. I allowed the cold water to run over my body, the bruises on my body stung, and I felt the thick liquid on my inner thighs begin to wash off my body, as I stood under the shower I refused to cry, it had never helped even though I felt broken and at that point I was more bleak, empty, dead inside. All my life it seemed as if I had only been crying, and it never helped me, rather things became worse for me. I allowed the water to dry off my body before putting on the clothes my uncle gave me, every part of my body felt sore, especially my lady area.
I was not yet twelve but I had been buried by tribulations that would crumble an adult. I can't say how much time I wasted in the bathroom because my uncle came looking for me. He knocked softly and when I did not answer, he opened the door oblivious to my pain.
“What are you still doing in there.”
I ignored his question and walked past him into his room. The bathroom is directly connected to his room so there was no escaping from him until dismissed.
“Sit down” he gestured at the chair facing his vanity. I did as I was told, my face down as I could never look at the monster.
“Eat.” he gave me three pieces of pizza and a bottle of coke.
“I am not hungry,” I muttered
“I don't care, just eat.” his voice rose as he spoke.
I started eating. My eyes burned as I felt the tears cloud my eyes, but I swallowed hard, there was no way I intended to cry, it only empowered the beast. I shoved the food into my mouth, even though I loved pizza the few times my grandfather had offered me some, it tasted like dust now.
“Do you want more?” I shook my head no. I wondered why he was acting as if he cared about me.
I shrank back as he moved close and took the brush from the vanity table. He started to brush my hair, slowly at first before he became rough with each stroke. “I trust you won't tell anyone of what happened today, Kiara,” he asked and I shook my head in fright.
“Look at me Kiara.” he barked and I jerked my head up. I was consumed by fear of what next he would do to me. “Remember you are to blame for what just happened, you seduced me. Do you understand?” I nodded in agreement.
“Very good, you are wise to agree to your part in all this.” His eyes went dark and I felt a cold shiver run down my spine. He grabbed my neck and began to caress it gently suddenly he started to choke me.
“You should thank me for taking care of you; you have shelter, food, and clothes. Imagine if I were to throw you out and you have to survive alone. There are bad people out there Kiara, you would be dead in no time.” he spoke so softly, that I could barely hear him. “You can go to your room now, but no one must hear about what happened, if you dare to tell anyone, I will hunt you down and kill you.”
I BELIEVED HIM.
KIARA'S POVThe past few days have been quite overwhelming for me. Kate and her friends have been mean to me and they belittle me at any chance they have. It had become worse since after the Alpha's birthday when things took a dark turn.As I made my way through the pack, I was suddenly ambushed by Kate's friends."Well, well, well, look who we have here. It's little Kiara, trying to step into my shoes again, huh?"My heart raced as I struggled to find the right words, my nerves getting the best of me. "I... I wasn't trying to take your position, Kate. I was just...""Save it, Kiara. I've heard enough of your pathetic excuses. Do you think you can just walk in and snatch everything away from me? Well, let me make something clear. You'll regret it if you ever try that again.""I... I am not trying to. I promise. Please, believe me."She sneered at me her voice filled with anger. "Oh, Kiara, you don't get it. This place is mine, and I won't let someone like you take it from me. Do yo
ADRAIN'S POVIn the early morning hours, Davis, Gamma Louis, and I embarked on a mission towards a dilapidated cabin. Our purpose was clear—to investigate the unsettling occurrences that had befallen our pack. Reports of unexplained deaths and the discovery of peculiar weapons warranted the need for investigation and action. As we got closer to the cabin, I could see it looked old and worn out. The security team had done their job well, ensuring that no one tampered with the evidence. But what we found inside sent chills down my spine.Equipment lay scattered across the room, remnants of a macabre experiment. Beds lined the walls, their restraints and handcuffs suggesting unspeakable acts. The glint of silver caught my eye, and I shuddered at the thought of what horrors had transpired within these walls."What the hell happened here?" Davis muttered, his voice filled with disbelief and anger.I moved closer, to examine the scene and was immediately filled with dread. Bloodstains marre
ADRAIN'S POVAfter the party, Lisa did not waste any time but confronted me immediately asking me why I saved Kiara from falling. "Adrian, why did you go out of your way to save that omega? I've never seen her in the park before. Who is she?" she sounded jealous, her usual trait. Her constant questions annoyed me a bit. Lisa had always been the jealous type, quick to jump to conclusions. "Don't be ridiculous, I saved Kiara because it was the normal thing to do. She was about to fall, and I couldn't just stand there and do nothing." I sighed and replied, my irritation visible.“Oh, her name is Kiara.” Lisa's frown deepened, and her eyes narrowed. "I noticed something between you and Kiara, Adrian. There was a spark. Tell me the truth."I shook my head in frustration and exhaustion. "Lisa, you're overthinking things. There's nothing between me and...and that girl. I just did what anyone would do in that situation."She fumed within herself, clearly not satisfied with my response. In
TANTRUMSKIARA’S POVWe were the first to arrive at the hall, after setting up the decorations earlier in the day. As I looked around, I was surprised by how pretty the hall looked. It was decorated with lots of purple and light purple colors, which made it really beautiful and eye-catching. The flower arrangements and hanging decorations were breathtaking, a testament to everyone's hard work and Rose’s attention to detail."Take your positions, the Alpha and his mother are coming," Rose's voice echoed through the hall, snapping us into action. We stood in a line and said hello as the Alpha and his mom walked in. But deep down, I secretly wished the Alpha wouldn't see me.When he didn't look my way, I didn't feel sad. Instead, I felt relieved. It was better for me if he didn't pay attention to me.The Alpha made his toast, officially opening the party, and the hall soon buzzed with life as music filled the air. Despite being assigned to serve, I made a conscious effort to avoid the A
IN MY FEELINGSADRAIN’S POVI woke up to the melodic sound of "Happy Birthday" echoing through my room, serenading me from every corner. The voice was familiar, and as I opened my eyes, my heart swelled with joy. It was my mother, standing by my bedside, a beaming smile lighting up her face. Gone were the traces of sadness that had haunted her for years. She seemed more alive and happier, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the transformation. As my mother leaned over me, I wrapped my arms around her in a tight hug, relishing the warmth of her embrace. She was my rock, my pillar of strength, and seeing her so genuinely happy filled me with a sense of contentment."Tell me there's no party today, Mother," I pleaded, a playful frown forming on my face as I climbed out of bed. I had reached the age of twenty-two, and the thought of another birthday celebration felt overwhelming. Her smile took on a mysterious quality, and I instantly knew that my request would go unanswered. It was
KIARA POVI find myself in a strange place, surrounded by people with unfamiliar customs and peculiar names like Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega. I notice that Rose, the person assigned to take care of me, is referred to as an Omega, along with others who seem responsible for chores such as cooking, cleaning, and various laborious tasks. It becomes clear to me that they are treated as slaves within this community. It has been nearly a week since my arrival, and I have yet to see or hear from the person who captured me. However, despite the circumstances, I find myself surprisingly content. Rose has been kind to me, she treated me better than my uncle and grandfather. Though there have been occasional snide remarks from some of the girls in this place, most others treat me fairly. I am well-fed, and given my experience with household chores, I have taken it upon myself to contribute to the tasks at hand, much to Rose's satisfaction. I decided to ask Rose about the community, hoping she
