EPISODE 45 – ALPHA BEAST DAX

I couldn’t even swallow anymore. My throat felt dry and tight as if his intense gaze was enough to melt me. It was like he was trying to dissolve me with just his eyes. Then something shiny caught my attention. A glint of light from his shoulder.

I looked closer and saw a leather quiver strapped across his back. Inside were sharp, deadly-looking arrows, each one sleek and dangerous. Tucked alongside them was a longbow, worn but clearly well-used.

Beads of sweat glistened on his bare upper body, slowly trickling down the defined curves of his muscles. Each drop followed the natural lines of his strength, highlighting every ridge, every sharp contour. I had to tear my eyes away. "Alpha Dax, we've finished setting the traps by the river," a male slave spoke in a calm and respectful voice.

Alpha Dax didn’t even glance at him. His eyes remained locked on me.

“Where did you find this human?” he asked with heavy authority.
