As soon as Gina hung up the phone, she quickly picked up her bag and headed straight to the living room with her child, who was already awake due to the movement. Upon reaching the living room, she found her maid still watching TV, so she approached her and turned it off immediately. The maid watched her with a blank expression, not surprised by her action, as Gina had always been known for her short temper. While others might perceive her as a frustrated or temperamental person, the maid, having lived with her for three years, understood that there was always something bothering her. But despite their time together, Gina had never opened up about her personal life.

"Ivy, take this money and leave right now. Don't ever come back here again," Gina said, picking up a bundle of dollars and handing it over to her.

"I don't understand; it's not payday yet," the maid replied, staring at Gina in confusion and hesitating to accept the money.
