I reluctantly left her alone in my room, after Alex linked me.

" It's better to be something important, Alex," I said through the link. He didn't respond to anything.

Walking through the hall, I reached the stairs. My mind went back into my room where I left her alone. I knew that she was afraid of me but never knew she would be horrified to even look at me.

Descending from the stairs, I saw Evelyn was in the living room chatting with my father happily.

" F*ck," a string of curses left my mouth, seeing her in my pack. If I didn't know my father I would have thought it was a coincidence.

Evelyn is the daughter of the neighbouring pack's beta. Beta Marcus is an amazing person and his fighting skills were well known. But given that she is a spoiled and bratty kid. I don't believe that we dated in the past. But it was there and she knew it too.
