LOGINSo how would I describe myself?
I would say, beautiful, confident, adventurous and free-spirited. My mom called me an adrenaline junkie during one of our arguments. My daddy told me one of the qualities he admire about me is my charisma. A colleague said I am unpredictable. I've also been called mischievous, too playful, the ice princess and a blond bimbo. The latter, many times by people who don't really know me. I bet Mia also think I'm just a blond bimbo. As I walk to my room, the word 'revenge' continue to resound in my mind. I arrive at my room and go straight to the closet. I first bring out the suitcases I kept inside before I start to remove clothes from their hangers. As I fold clothes into one suitcase, I wonder what was wrong with me before. Theseeeeeerain must have gone on vacation and just returned because I can't believe I was going to let Mia get away with destroying my relationship just because her ex met another girl through me. Yes, I agree that Jamie was a no-good cheat. I should be glad his true color was revealed to me this early in our relationship. Believe me, I am. That doesn't mean I should allow that bitch get away with making a fool of me. The scene of her and her friends laughing at me as I hurry away from that place while trying to fight back my tears comes to mind, and I angrily shake it away. I laugh "Oh, Mia, Mia, Mia... You fucked with the wrong girl this time. I'm so going to make you pay for humiliating me and making me a laughingstock amongst your friends. By the time I'm done with you, not just your friends but the whole school will be laughing at you. I throw the dress I'm holding aside and sit on the bed to think about the best way to exert my revenge. I don't need to think long before a perfectly nasty revenge occurs to me. But instead of getting up to prepare, I continue sitting, wondering if the plan going through my mind is not too extreme. Immediately, I shake my head to clear the doubt clouding my brain. Mia is a bully. She's callous, manipulative, and deceitful. Her lack of empathy, remorse, and accountability was why Colton broke up with her, but she took it out on me. That bitch is a psychopath through and through. Although I'm not like her, who enjoys hurting people, I have no business pitying such a person. "She deserves everything she will be getting from me this evening and many more," I tell myself, then grab my purse and keys before walking out the door to prepare for her downfall. * * I can tell from the way Camila's eyes widen when I step out of my room that she likes the romper dress I'm putting on. "Wow!..." She exclaims as her eyes admire me from the way I style my hair down the length of my body. I smile "So what do you think?" "Damn girl! Now why didn't I think of black? I love the sharp contrast the color makes to your creamy-white skin and platinum-blond hair. You always make me wish I had your kind of blonde hair and skin tone." I laugh "And you know you always make me wish I had your kind of raven black hair and olive skin tone," I reply, and grab her hand. "C'mon, let's go. You don't want us to keep your ontotototototoyfriend waiting, do you?" We, living creatures are hardly satisfied with what we have. Camila is Hispanic and very beautiful, yettheshe's always wishing she had the color of my hair and fair skin tone. I, on the other hand, wish to be like her because of my porcelain skin that never tans. I also don't burn no matter how long I spend under the sun without sunscreen. Strange, right? Yes. I find it strange that my hair colour and skin tone border on white. Even my eyes are the lightest of grey that turn silver when my emotions are high. I also find it strange that I look nothing like my parents, even though I'm not adopted. According to my daddy, I'm the spitting image of my great-grandmother. The only information he ever shared with us about the family he comes from * * "What is this place?" I ask from the back seat as Colton slows down the car in front of a massive gate, waiting for the armed security men to finish checking the car ahead of us "What? You don't know?" He briefly looks at me and asks with a chuckle. Then turn to move the car forward before handing his ID over to the guard checking. "Your IDs, please?" The man asks Camila and me after checking Colton's card. We hand them to him. He checks, looks at our faces, and checks again. When he's satisfied, he returns our cards and signals for Colton to continue inside. "So?... I don't know what?" I resume my questioning as he drives further inside. "The place belongs to Jamie's parents. He is our host." I frown "Wait– and you're just telling me now!?" "Don't blame me! You didn't want to attend before. I just found out you changed your mind when I arrived to pick Camila." Camila's eyes widen in amusement, making me aware that he's lying. This two! Isn't it bad enough that I'll be seeing the cheating bastard? How can they bring me to his territory? "You guys!?... Surely you're not harboring the idea of us patching things up?" "I'm not! He is!" Camila immediately refutes my accusation, pointing at Colton with her thumb. "Colton! You don't need me to remind you of how he cheated on me, do you?" "He's my friend..." "And what am I?" He sighs "I told you how angry I was with him because of that day, didn't I? Victoria, what happened, happened in his moment of weakness. He was set up, and he regretted falling for it. Now he's deeply sorry..." "Wow!..." Camila cuts in with a sneer. "What?" He briefly turns to ask her with a sarcastic raise of his brow, as if he's already aware of what she's about to say "Oh, nothing! I just hope you will be this understanding when I cheat on you in the future." The car suddenly stops moving, causing us to surge forward. "What the hell, Colton! Be careful!" I shout "I was only joking! What is wrong with you!?" Camila also shockingly says "Only joking!? Bruh! I don't find that kind of joke funny!" He says coldly to her before turning to look at me in the back. "I'm sorry, Vic. Are you okay?" I nod "No one finds being cheated on funny, Colton. Now you know." "Yes," He says with a nod "You're my friend, as you're his friend, so don't interfere anymore. I'm here to accompany Camila, not to see him." I say, and he nods again. I lean into my seat and scoff "Rich kid thinks he can do whatever he wants and get away with it." Colton raises his brow at me "Rich kid, huh?" He says, chuckling as he restarts the car. Camila also laughs "That's rich coming from a rich kid, herself." She jokes I laugh too "What!? What do you mean by that statement!? I'm not spoilt and entitled or am I!?" I say to her before turning to Colton, "Am I, Colton!?" "No!..." He replies, shaking his head. "That, you're not." "Of course not. You know I didn't mean it that way." Camila adds Yes. I know she didn't mean it the way I suggested; after all, we're all rich kids, literally. My dad is the Beta of Silver Moon Pack, the biggest pack in North America. Jamie's family has the biggest pack in New York. Colton's dad is an oil magnate, and Camila, although not a werewolf, her family owns the biggest food processing company in Mexico. The car turns to a tree-lined road, and an awe-inspiring mansion comes into view. Colton pulls the car into an empty parking space when we arrive at a parking area. As we're getting out of the car, another car pulls up beside us. It's one of Colton's teammates. As they shake hands and talk about men's stuff, Camila and I continue towards the house. "The party is already in full swing, I see," I say when I hear excited noises coming from the direction of the big house. We walk towards the side of the mansion where the noise is coming from and see a huge pool with spiral water slides coming from different floors of the building. "It's beautiful," I say, watching as people slide down, jump, and swim around in the pool. "Yes, it is, but I wouldn't swim in it, though," Camila says I look at her and laugh when I see her wrinkling her nose in disgust. "Ugh! I can't imagine the amount of sweat, urine, and bacteria that must have been introduced into the water... Come, let's go find the punch bowl. I need a drink." She says and holds my hand, pulling me along with her. "You don't have to worry about Mia. You know she wouldn't dare do anything to hurt you with Colton around." I say, since I know she only takes alcohol when she's bothered about something, and the only thing I can think might be bothering her right now is Mia. "Who says I'm worried about her? I..." "Why are we looking for the punch bowl then?" I interrupt her bold facade, looking her straight in the eyes She sighs "Oh, alright. You caught me." She admits. "Okay, maybe I'm a little bit wary of her..." "She wouldn't dare hurt you..." "I know she can't directly hurt me with Colton around. I'm just scared of her schemes. You know how evil she is. She framed that girl– uhh, what's her name again?..." "Layla..." "Yes! Layla! I'm sure it was her that framed the poor girl and..." My body stiffens, and I stop listening when I smell and feel Jamie approaching. I count to five before I hear his voice behind me. "Hey! You came!" He exclaims in excitement, and I whirl around. "Yes, I came! Go ahead and act surprised as if Colton didn't already inform you. And just in case your mind is imagining all kinds of nonsense, you should know I'm not here because of you..." "Yeah, right!" He says and chuckles in disbelief I scoff, turning to Camila "Didn't I tell you guys he's a spoilt rich kid who thinks the world revolves around him?" "Hmm mm. I can see that now." The smile on his face slips when he hears what Camila says. "Okay– look, I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry for hurting you..." "Jamie, stop!..." "Please!... Can we talk in private? The noise here– please?..." He pleadingly says, looking from me to Camila "No. Whatever you want to say, you'll have to say it right here. I'm not..." "Oh, there's the punch bowl! I'll be right back..." Camila suddenly interrupts, immediately walking away in the direction she's pointing. I know she excused herself because of the subtle pleading looks he's giving her, which only makes me angrier with him. "I miss you..." He hurriedly says before I open my mouth to give him a piece of my mind. "I miss us. I admit I was weak to fall for their ploy, but I promise..." "Jamie?..." A meek voice calls out behind him right then I know it's the human girl Mia used to set him up even without seeing her face. She's also part of the cheerleading team. "Your girlfriend is looking for you," I say with a fake smile before turning to leave. "No! You are my girlfriend! She's nothing to me! Absolutely nothing! I swear, I've not met with her since that day. Please wait! Don't go!..." He desperately calls and holds my hand to stop me, but I shake him off. "Oh, Jamie! I've been looking everywhere for you..." I hear her say as I walk away. 'Ugh! Shameless whore!' Even though I wish I could kill the bitch. I know it's not her fault. I wonder what Mia promised or had on her before she agreed to be used in such a disgusting manner. But no more. I'm ending that bitch's reign today. I look around for Camila but don't see her. As I walk in the direction I saw her go earlier, I hear her voice and immediately hasten my steps "I don't have anything to say to you guys, so get out of my way!" I hear the fear in her voice and instantly know she's talking to Mia and her minions. My anger surges up within me when I see how they surround her, but I try to stay calm. "There you are. I've been looking all over for you." I say, and they all look in my direction. The relief I see on Camila's face on seeing me makes me want to beat Mia up for being such a bully bitch, but I can't do that. Not at a party that is organized by the school's football team. The bitch sneers on seeing me. "Oh, who do we have here!? Girls, I'm in shock! Who would have believed the ice princess would show her face this soon in society after she was publicly dumped and humiliated by her precious prince?" Camila, who is now emboldened by my presence, chuckles "Everyone knows she wasn't dumped, you scheming bitch! She walked away from your plot with her head held high like the Queen she is. Ask that idiot you sent, and she will confirm to you that he was just begging her to come back to him. Unlike you who can't stop texting and begging my boyfriend after he dumped your ass in the middle of a date..." I laugh as Mia's face heats up with embarrassment and anger. "You bitch!..." She growls and lunges for Camila's face, but I swiftly grab her hand tightly. 'This is the perfect time.' I tell myself as I feel for the vein inside her wrist before positioning my ring finger above it and tightening my grip. "Are you sure you want to do that here? You're really acting reckless these days, Mia." I say and quickly fling her hand away before she comes to her senses and realizes what I've just done. "C'mon Camila, let's go before Colton starts wondering where you were," I say, indirectly taking a jab at the bitch Camila quickly catches on "Yes. Yes. I almost forgot my boyfriend is waiting." She says, and we both laugh "Ugh!... I promise you'll regret this! Both of you!" Mia screams I momentarily turn back and sneer at her "No, we won't because there's no comeback for you after today," I say casually and walk away from them. If only she understands the meaning behind my words. None of them understand. We run into Colton on our way out "There you are, babe. I was just looking for you both..." He says and gives Camila a kiss before turning to me. "I know you don't want to hear this; Jamie is looking for you. He..." "You're right. I don't want to hear." I interrupt. "Excuse me while I visit the ladies' room." As I walk away, I look around for a maid to show me the way to the bathroom. I need to put the rest of my plan in place before the substance I subtly injected into Mia kicks in."Do you want to talk about it?" Ryder says tentatively beside me."Fuck off!" I say.I know him well enough to know he is not some lily-livered idiot. He uses that tone of voice whenever he thinks he can persuade me to do what I don't want.He continues talking anyway as if he doesn't hear me telling him to get lost."I mean, whatever made you so furious you're growling can't be about Red?... " He's reaching and pauses for me to confirm or deny what he just said but I ignore him still. "It must be about your family then...""I don't have a family!" I furiously shout. Standing up to walk away so I don't end up strangling him out of anger.God! How often do I have to tell this fool to stop referring to those people as my family! Blood relations alone don't make someone family. Vladimir made that known to me the day he cast me out to stay with Evan. And Evan couldn't be any clearer when he explained it to me in plain words. As much as I hate to recall those moments of weakness that I h
Draco's POVMy body is taut and ready for Evans's attack as I drain his son of his blood. It seems the old fart believes I'm still that five-year-old boy he tortured day and night but he's in for the shocker of his life. I've waited too long for this day to come. Now, I can't wait to rip out his jugular and bathe in his blood.Instead of his presence though, I begin to hear voices calling me from far away. They sound worried and desperate."Draco, wake up!""Wake up man, c'mon!"They also sound like people I know. Familiar voices I cannot ignore."Draco!""That's enough now, you will kill her!" 'KILL HER!' Alarm bells begin to sound in my head and I force my eyes open to realise it was another dream.Instead of Hunter, Evan Black's son, a raven-haired girl is leaning with her back to me while my face is buried in the crook of her neck. "Damn it!" I swear as my grip on her automatically loosens. She falls, but Ryder, my right-hand man, moves fast, catching her before she hits the fl
Deep, deep, deep, inside the ground of Black Sky Estate, a frail little boy lay curled up on a big boulder that was carved out from the rock on which the estate foundation was built. The coldness of the dungeon had long since seeped into his body. Having lost his unique hybrid physiology, his weak body shivered uncontrollably in a futile attempt to stay warm. His sore muscles and stiff joints scream for relief, but he dares not move from where he is.Apart from the fact that the darkness around him is thick and suffocating, making it seem as if his face is tightly wrapped with a heavy blanket. The ground beneath him is paved with jagged stones. He found that out the hard way when the stones pierced deeply into his feet the first time he carelessly tried to stand up. The memory of what ensued after he was injured and began to bleed flashes through his mind. "No!" His tiny voice croaks when an idea occurs to him almost simultaneously. The thought of going through that again makes his
I was initially disappointed because I didn't expect the bathroom the maid took me to to have three toilet stalls, like a public restroom. But when I knock on the doors and see that all three are empty, I smile.Doesn't this mean the Moon goddess is in support of this particular evil deed that I'm about to carry out?'Yes, Moon goddess. I can hear your approval loud and clear. I'm glad you agree with me that being pure and chaste is boring without a sprinkle of wickedness once in a while.' I think to myself and chuckle. "You're crazy, Victoria," I say out loud, laughing as I walk to the first stall. I turn the occupied sign out before going in. Inside, I lock the door and then use the toilet seat as a boost to climb into the next stall through the opening at the top. I turn out the 'occupied' sign and also lock this stall from the inside, then climb into the last stall. After I lock the door, I sit on the toilet seat with the top down to wait for Mia's arrival.Smiling, I look at t

Victoria's POV I don't like exam periods. Not because I don't know what I'm doing, mind you. I'm a straight-A student. I don't like exam periods because of the moods that come with them. People hardly smile. They walk around like zombies with stress and anxiety written all over their faces, making each day feel as if color has been sucked out of the atmosphere. I'm the happy, carefree kinda girl who doesn't like solemn environments. It dampens my spirit and affects my general well-being. My daddy taught me that when you stress out, your awareness suffers. You see less, you hear less, and you think less clearly. But when you maintain a calm, optimistic mindset, even in a bad situation, you will see more, sense more, be a better problem-solver, and give yourself more options.Thank God it's over now. It's the end of the session, and I'm elated. I finish my last paper, humming a song as I submit my answer sheet to the invigilator and sign out of the hall. The man looks at me wondering
