Sold bride to the Mafia

Today was supposed to be a day of joy for Ariel because it's her wedding day. She was already dressed in her beautiful white wedding gown, adorned herself with embroideries. 

The wedding hall was already occupied with the invited guests and the wedding was about to start, but Jack, her husband-to-be was nowhere to be found.

Ariel was beaming with smile as she was seated in the bride's waiting room, waiting to called. She has lived her life without any family of her own since she grew up in an orphanage and don't know her parents nor any relatives.

She is so happy that from that day on, she will have a family to call her own, she was still smiling to herself when the master of ceremony comes in.

"Where is the groom?" He requested.

They have been waiting for the groom to start the wedding ceremony but he has been unreachable.

"What did you mean?" 

Ariel frowns and the smile fade away from her face. 

"The groom should come in now but he is unreachable" 

"Unreachable! How?" 

Ariel could not understand what the master of ceremony was trying to tell her. She instantly picks her phone to dial Jack's number. 

She came together with Jack and they both went to their waiting rooms to prepare for the wedding.

"Where on earth could Jack be?"

Ariel’s face was already clouded with worries as she could not also reach Jack. She even tries to call his friends but all of them are unreachable too. 

"Did you check the groom's waiting room?" 

Ariel looks more worried now.

"I checked everywhere but there was no trace of the groom. Did he tell you anything?" 

The master of ceremony wonders what could have happened.

"I... I." 

Ariel don't know what to say or think, she was already anxious.

The guests in the wedding hall were already getting impatient as the ceremony was delayed. 

"Jack where are you?" Ariel pace back and forth confused about what to do.

She doesn’t believe Jack will run away from the wedding because they already registered their marriage yesterday. Jack took both their identity cards to register their marriage and he told her he had registered their marriage.

"What now?" 

The master of ceremony asks.

"Can you..." 

Ariel was about to reply when they heard commotion from the wedding hall. The guests screaming in fear.

"What is that?" 

Ariel holds up her long flowing wedding gown in panic and quickly rushes to the wedding hall with the master of ceremony.

To her shock, the wedding hall was already disrupted by the one ruthless mafia Lord, Alaska and his men.

Ariel looks terrified at the sight of Alaska and his men. She wondered what they are doing in her wedding.

She doesn’t have business with Alaska nor any of his troubles. She had never seen him before; she has only heard and watch on news about his atrocities and unscrupulous behaviors. The entire city feared him, and now he stood in the middle of her wedding.

Everyone knew Alaska and his men are wicked people who caused trouble in the city, kill brutally and did unthinkable things. Everyone is scared of his presence and the hall is already in panic.

On sighting Ariel, Alaska smirked wickedly. 

Ariel's heart raced speedily as Alaska's eyes fell on her.

Alaska then starts to move towards her slowly, Ariel fearfully moved backwards in fear as she looks terrified with Alaska's presence. 

Because of so much fear, Ariel could no longer move her legs. She stops abruptly; she is so scared because it seems Alaska was there because of her. 

Alaska reaches her and grabs her neck then pull her to himself. Ariel's soul seems to already left her body, as froze in his hand.

She let out a scream in fear, the hall grew hot like hell for everyone. They were scared for their lives knowing how wicked Alaska is.

"If you don't want to see hell run for your dear life" 

Jeffrey, the group underboss announced to the guests. Everyone flew in fear within some seconds, the hall empty. 

Only Ariel and Alaska with his men in the wedding hall were left in the hall.

Ariel don't know what is going on at all, she knew she did not do anything to offend Alaska nor any of his members. 

It is said that Alaska himself doesn’t usually go out for operations but Ariel wonders why he will come himself this time. 

Was she going to die on her wedding day? Ariel tears flows endlessly as she thought of dying. Alaska was still holding unto her, not letting go. 

"Let's begin" 

Alaska notion to his men, Ariel just remains still under his hold frightened wondering what they want to do.

"We join the bride and the groom together today in holy matrimony" 

Jeffrey said facing both Alaska and Ariel.

"Bride and groom?"

Ariel's brain fails to process what Jeffrey meant by bride and groom. Was she supposed to be the bride? She doubts.

"You may kiss your bride"

Jeffrey adds.

“No…...!” she screamed, horrified.

Ariel's doubt was quickly cleared when Alaska forcefully pulls in to kiss her. Ariel's eyes open wide in shock as Alaska smacked his lips on hers and roughly kiss her.

She protested against him by struggling to get herself freed from the kiss but Alaska holds her tightly and continually kiss her until she has no strength left in her and just gave up.

When Alaska realized that Ariel already gave up, he let go of her and smile mockingly.

"We are now husband and wife"

Alaska smirked with evil grin.

"What did he mean by husband and wife?"

Ariel could not understand any of what was going on. Before she could think of what to do to get away from Alaska and his men, Alaska scooped her up and threw her over his shoulder.

“No! Let me go!” she screamed, kicking and thrashing.

But it was too late. Alaska had taken her away.
