Chapter Twenty one

The soft click of the door lock makes Ariel sigh, she feels like crying, she had been locked in her room like a prisoner and she can’t even do anything about it.

 Before, she had been allowed to leave her room but now, she was locked up. Ariel looks at the food tray on the table, she doesn’t even feel a thing, as if she had no life left in her anymore. She had not touched her food at all, she wondered when she will be allowed to leave her room again. 

Probably she had really overstepped her boundaries this time. She hadn’t eaten ever since she was locked in and had not changed her clothes too, she doesn’t know if she was actually protesting or punishing herself. But she believes she had done nothing wrong; Alaska indeed forced her into the marriage and did something evil to Jack. 

“But why did he hate Jack so much?” she thinks and sigh, frustrated about her life. 

She looks at the door tightly locked and blinked back her tears. 

“Could he have killed Jack?” thinking about it, ever since she had been brought into the estate Alaska has not kill anyone except the Russian bloodbath, she doesn’t know if Alaska could really have actually killed Jack like he said. 

“I hate him!” tears flow down from her eyes thinking of Jack really dying. She thinks of Jack has the only family she had, but now Alaska killed her only family. 

“I need to know what he did to Jack and what Jack has done to deserve all of these” she sighs using the back of her hand to clean her tears. 

“I have to find out, then I will know what to do” she nods determined to find out why Alaska will target her of all people and what he had done to Jack too. She seems to have gotten her energy back and decides to take her bath and get changed. 

It has been reported to Alaska that Ariel had not touched any of her food since she was locked up in her room. Alaska got anxious to know that she has been starving herself. 

“All because of that bastard!” he looks angry. 

Though Alaska is ruthless and brutal in dealing whosoever cross him, but females seem to be his weakness. He instantly got up from his seat. 

“Get me another food, I will bring it to her myself. She dares not eat it” 

Jefrey and some of Alaska’s men who were present glanced at themselves surprise. Sissy quickly heats up some food, add apples and bring it to Alaska who takes it to Ariel’s room on the last floor. 

“Boss, do you think this is still our Don?” Steve, the capo of the group asks Jefrey. 

Jefrey forces a smile. 

“I don’t know either” he shakes his head. 

Ariel finish taking her bath, she was still having the bathrobe on her as she uses the towel to dry her hair. The door lock clicks; Ariel did not bother to turn around to see who it is.

Only Sissy and Alaska was allowed into her room and when Jefrey probably comes to her room he knocks and ask for permission before he enters. Sissy also asks for permission but after she was locked up, she don’t answer any of Sissy’s call. 

Since she wouldn’t answer, Sissy decides to just enter and leave whatever she has brought and leaves. As Ariel heard the door lock clicking, she believes it must be Sissy again because Alaska has not visited her room since she was locked, she believes he probably don’t want to see her so she just keeps drying her hair with the towel. 

Alaska opens the door and enters the room, which Ariel still believes it must be Sissy.

“I heard you don’t touch your foods…” the moment Ariel heard Alaska’s voice unexpectedly, she turns around in shock and suddenly loose balance but Alaska swiftly caught her before she could fall holding her waist to his body, Ariel’s robe flew up, her lap exposes and even her cleavage to Alaska’s eyes, Alaska stares at her cleavage in shock. 

The food trap food fall echoing through the room. 

 Alaska stares in daze as he holds Ariel to his body in the position he had caught her just in time, he did not expect to see such view in front of him. When Ariel realizes Alaska was staring at her cleavage and seems to be carried away in the moment, she instantly pushes him away. 

Alaska snapped out of his daze and quickly caution himself; he did not intend to see her body it was just a coincidence. 

“Pervert” Ariel mutters feeling wrong. 

“What did you say?” Alaska smirked, he was only helping her not to fall but instead she called him a pervert. 

“I don’t even see anything” he felt wrong for been called a pervert. 

“There was nothing to see after all” he mutters silently and sit on the bed angrily. 

“You are lying!” Ariel feels like crying. Jack has not even seen her body but Alaska was sneaking a peek at her body. 

“You mean I’m lying?”

“You did this deliberately, don’t you?” Ariel believed Alaska must have fixed his gaze on her cleavage deliberately. 

“Deliberate!” he feels like it is the most insulting thing he had ever heard

 “Even if I indeed see anything it wasn’t deliberate. I was trying to save you” he tries to explain to her, he can be so ruthless, evil and brutal, but he was not a pervert and cannot be turned to one by her. 

Ariel looks murderously at him. 

Alaska could not believe she really thinks he stares at her like that because he wanted to take a peek at her body. He was just too shock and in daze, he doesn’t know why he looks so shock either. 

Ariel keeps staring at him as if she was going to murder him, making Alaska feels guilty. 

“What?” he really feels wrong the way she stares at him without saying anything. 

“So what?”

“What if I saw your nakedness? You are my wife and I own your body” Alaska will not let her make him feel guilty. 

If he really wants to look at her body he doesn’t need to sneak a peek.
