I left Lindsey in the bedroom to relax and change. I went into the kitchen to order tacos. I really did just want to spend time with her, to keep getting to know her. With the exception of my grandfather and the Eyler’s today was actually a lot of fun. I got to see Lindsey in another light and I really enjoyed myself.
Just as I was getting off the phone, I heard the front door open and then close, which is strange because James and Brandon were given specific instructions to be scarce tonight. Reece I feel small warm hands on my cheeks. “Where are you right now?” She asks in a small voice. Her concern for me broke her out of whatever trance she was in. Reece “Thank you for telling me, that explains a lot.” She chuckles and I smile at the feel of the vibration in her chest. “Can I tell you something? Thank you to everyone who has followed the journey. The last two weeks have been family focused and I will have the next chapter up by the end of the week. Thank you for sticking with me through this process. As a new writer who joined in the midst of covid to try something new to occupy my ADHD, I never really understood how the process of writing really worked. To all authors reading, I appreciate all of the work and long hours you put into your writing. I have been inspired by so many of you and I have a new appreciation for what goes into creating a story worth reading.

Lindsey When we arrive, the first thing that hits me is the sheer size of the event. People are everywhere. The line of limos seems almost endless. I was not new to this world, but I never enjoyed it so I avoided events like these. My grandmother never forced me to attend and Ralph was always at these functions for our company.
