Hide... and seek

"Elena..." Marcus called out playfully with a wicked grin spread across his face.

"Elena, come on, there's no point running and you know that, love" he added following her scent through the forest.

Elena ran and ran, trying her best to conceal the sounds of her feet touching the dry leaves.

"Elena, come on, I'm tired of playing, come feed me" Marcus said, in a tone that was a little less playful.

Elena went on, hyperventilating in fear and exhaustion as tears streamed down her eyes blurring up her vision.

She attempted to leap over a tree that fell but didn't jump high enough and so her feet grazed upon the tree trunk as she fell to the floor with a loud thud.

"Heard that.." Marcus uttered, hearing the sound of her falling.

"You must be hurt, I don't mind pouring some ointment on the wound, you know," he added in a seductive tone.

It sounded enticing but there was no way she was falling for that again. She got up and ran but her ankle wouldn't let her,so she began cr
