Sabrina’s POV

Have I ever been in love? I don’t think so.

With Logan, I liked the fact that someone finally chose me, especially as their mate. I depended on that knowledge a lot, growing very dependent on him and tying my whole worth around the fact that I was his chosen mate.

Logan didn’t give me a chance to love him. He was emotionally unavailable, and I barely saw him. The only time I saw him was after Elena was done beating me. He came right after to console me. It didn’t make sense how he only appeared then, but it all made sense now.

My breath hitched and I swallowed hard. “…No,” I responded to Damon’s question.

“Not even once?” He asked, his tone lighter as if filled with relief.

I lowered my head. “You could say I loved Logan—” Damon’s grunt, low and disapproving, made me pause. I wanted to gauge his expression but I couldn’t dare look at him.

Why was I even on his lap? What was wrong with this Alpha? My mind which was once focused on my uncle now went blank. I didn’t kno

Sabrina’s POV“Huh?” I stared at Alpha Damon, confused. He let go of my chin and leaned back into his seat.“You said you would have preferred if I killed Gerald instead,” he said, a dark glint in his eyes. “I’ll be very happy to do that for you.”I shook my head immediately. Was that all he picked up from everything I said?“Please don’t,” I whispered. I couldn’t imagine having someone’s blood on my hands. With Logan, I couldn’t control it, and I had no idea it would happen. Plus, Alpha Gerald was still family. He and Elena are all I have.I looked up at Damon, my chest heaving. “Kill me,” I tapped my chest repeatedly. “Me, just end my miserable life please.”“No.” Damon’s face twisted in annoyance. “You haven’t fulfilled your purpose yet.”My brows furrowed. What purpose?I sniffed, wiping away tears that still wouldn’t stop rushing out. My knees hurt from kneeling for so long, but I ignored them.“I-I…” I bowed my head, and the words stuck in my throat. “Please let me go.”Damon su

Damon’s POVShe didn’t even know what she was doing to me.Sabrina came closer, her brows furrowed innocently in panic as she tried to clean up the water she had accidentally spilled… right on my crotch.I clenched my jaw so hard I tasted blood. Her small hand dabbed at the soaked fabric, her fingers grazing the outline of my arousal through my pants. My breath caught in my throat, sharp and ragged. A low growl rumbled in my chest before I could stop it.She flinched at the sound, her eyes wide. “I’m sorry…”“Don’t move.” My voice came out rougher than intended. My wolf thrashed beneath the surface, clawing, begging to be let out… to take her, mark her, bury himself so deep she’d never be able to wash the scent of us off her skin again. And she… she was kneeling there like a lamb before a starving beast, completely unaware. Her fingers brushed me again.I jerked. It took everything, every damn thing, not to lose control. Heat surged from my core. A pulse of electricity shot down my s

Sabrina’s POV“The first challenge…” the host started, letting silence settle in for maximum suspense. “…is between Alpha Derek of the Moon crest pack, and Alpha Harry of the Red moon pack.”The stadium erupted in loud screams and cheers as the Alphas went backstage to prepare. Meanwhile, I sat beside Alpha Damon and Ian, cloaked in shadows inside a hidden compartment I never knew existed. It felt nothing like the rest of the stadium. More like a closed-off corner of a high-end bar…dark wood panels, shelves lined with aged wine bottles, and low red and green lighting that cast blurred reflections on the floor. In front of us stretched a massive glass wall, seamless and soundproof. It gave a perfect view of the arena below. Alpha Damon had dragged me up there and placed me next to him on the long curved cushion he and Ian sat on. He then left me there without saying a word. I silently moved away from him and sat at the end of the cushion. “Where did Nymeria go to?” Alpha Damon spok

Sabrina’s POV“Watch where you’re going.” A woman dressed elegantly yelled at me as I bumped into her. She lol at me in disgust pinching her nose like I exuded an ass fuck odor.“I-I’m sorry,” I apologized, quickly turning away from her and walking away.I walked around with my head lowered from fear of my uncle seeing me. The pack stadium was bustling with people from different social sectors. No doubt the woman I bumped into was a Luna or the wife of a chief.I stopped and sniffed my underarm. I didn’t smell bad. I always have my bath, and wash the few clothes I have each time they’re worn. So why did she have to behave like I was walking trash? I felt hurt.I brushed it off, focusing on finding Nanny Tessa and the others.Suddenly, I bumped into someone again.“Heavens.” I cursed under my breath. Who did I bump into now?“I-I’m sorry,” I apologized and moved past the person not bothering to look at their face. I didn’t want to see their expression of disgust when they saw it was so

Damon’s POV “Who is that girl?” Axel asked me as he followed me up the stairs. “No one,” I said coldly, not sparing him a glance. Axel has always clung to me as a kid. His father was a close ally and now him. I thought his mischievousness would die once he took over the pack and continued his father’s legacy, but I guess it only doubled. “Hmmm…can you give her to me?” He ran forward and blocked my path, spreading his hands out. “I like her.” I stared at him, wondering if I had heard correctly, my head wanting nothing more than to snap his head off his shoulders regardless of our ties. “I see you no longer love your life,” I told him, shoving him to the side and walking away from him. “Why?” His voice halted my steps. “I saw you guys in the kitchen earlier, Who is she to you?” I took a deep breath, turning to face him with barely restrained anger. How dare he want my mate? “If there was one thing your father knew how to do best...” I walked down the stairs and stood one step
