Sabrina’s POV

Elena.

So these were the guests.

I looked at Damon, who had a small smile playing on his lips like he was watching some family sitcom. At this point, my blood was boiling, and I was on the edge of exploding, but I tried to stay calm.

“You look good in those outfits,” Elena sneered, referring to the faded, loose shirt and jeans I had on. I hadn’t been given the opportunity to gather much of my things back at the packhouse.

“She sure does,” Logan jeered with a wide grin next to her.

Logan…my ex-mate.

We were a match made in heaven… or so I thought. He had been the only ray of light in the darkness that clouded my life. I thought he was the one the Moon Goddess had sent to pull me from the miserable pit she threw me into the moment she took away my parents. But hell, was I wrong.

“Elena is my mate, and I’ve deceived you this entire time. We recognized each other the moment she turned eighteen. Dating you was all a game my mate wanted, and it was fun taking part in it.”

Those were the exact words Logan spat when I confronted him after catching him in bed with Elena. Deceiving me wasn’t part of the promises he made to me when he chose me as his mate.

“What are you doing standing there?” Elena taunted, dragging me back to reality. “Come and serve me my food.”

There were many other servants around, but I wasn’t surprised Elena picked me.

I turned to look at Damon briefly, and when I saw he didn’t object, I bit my lower lip and went around the table to serve Elena.

“My mate too,” Elena smiled sheepishly, and I felt a pang of something tighten in my chest. I balled my fists until my knuckles turned white, steeling my mind as I moved to serve Logan as well.

After I was done, I turned to leave when Damon’s voice caused me to halt in my tracks.

“Where are you going?” he asked.

“To my room,” I replied, turning to face him, lips pursed. I locked my hands in front of me, staring at my feet as if they were some sort of entertainment.

“Come here,” I heard him say.

My heart raced, and I felt tremors in my bones. What did he want from me again?

My legs moved on their own despite the warning bells blaring in my mind. I stood close to him, making sure to keep a wide distance between us.

“Come closer,” his voice echoed again, prompting me to finally look up at him. How close did he want me? I could easily take his order from where I stood. With some hesitation, I took a few steps forward, but when his gaze locked onto mine, I panicked and scurried over, ending up just inches away from him.

“Sit,” his command came again, but this time, it was different. I didn’t hesitate further; I rushed over to the nearest chair and took a seat. His eyes were still locked on me, and I wondered if I had followed the wrong order.

“Isn’t that seat meant for the Luna?” Elena asked, disgust lacing her voice.

The realization then hit me, and I stood up from the seat like it’d burn my skin if I stayed longer.

“I’m sorry,” I quickly bowed my head and apologized. It felt like my chest would explode from all the tension. I just had to mess up!

Damon’s eyes were still locked on me, his expression hard to read.

“Sit,” he ordered again, but this time, he pointed to his lap.

It can’t be.

“Don’t make me repeat myself. Sit.” He tapped on his lap once more.

Fear gripped my heart, and I wondered if throwing it all away and jumping from the highest floor in this mansion would be the better option.

I hesitated, my hands trembling as I glanced between Damon and Elena. The latter’s expression was twisted with fury, but Damon’s face remained unreadable.

Swallowing hard, I dragged my feet forward, my breath coming in short, ragged gasps. When I reached him, I hesitated once more, lowering myself slowly onto his lap, making sure not to let my full weight settle. My entire body stiffened, and I felt my muscles tense up.

I jolted when Damon’s arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me in closer until I was firmly seated on his thighs.

“Better,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

“Eat,” he commanded next, his voice firm but calm, as though nothing unusual had just happened.

I jolted again when he spoke. His breath fanned the nape of my neck, causing my hair to stand on end. How did he expect me to eat with his hands wrapped around me?

“Alpha Damon—” Elena started, but Damon shot her a deadly glare, and her mouth snapped shut immediately.

I watched in confusion as Damon picked up the fork and knife, cutting into the steak and slicing it into bite-sized pieces. Then he lifted a piece in front of my mouth.

“You’re too skinny. Eat.”

Logan and Elena were just as shocked as I was. From the corner of my eye, I saw Logan twitch, and it excited me more than I thought it would. Basking in the shocked faces of the two, I opened my mouth and ate the piece directly from Damon’s hand.

He moved to feed me the next piece, but I acted faster, grabbing the fork and placing a piece in my mouth myself. I saw his brows furrow… was he angry that I fed myself?

We stayed in that position while I slowly ate, unable to overcome the discomfort I felt as Damon kept his gaze fixed on me like I was some fascinating creature.

I noticed from the corner of my eye the maids gathered in clusters behind the pillars, all visibly shocked by the scene before them.

“Alpha Damon, you can’t do this. It is highly inappropriate, and Sabrina is a… slave.” Logan abruptly stood up in protest, his hands trembling beside him.

Damon spared him a glance before turning to me.

“Do you want his head?”

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Damon's Past 1

Sabrina’s POVI had no idea where Damon was leading me. He left the pack house for a while on foot, and we walked hand in hand until we were far past pack borders. He led me into the forest, the dry leaves crunching under our feet as we made it through. Crickets chirped here and there and the faint sounds of animals rustling through the trees, accompanied us as we walked further. It felt like the trees grew longer as we went deeper into the forest, seeing that the moon barely didn't spilled through the trees. We finally stopped under a massive oak tree. Its trunk was thick, roots sprawling out like claws.Damon let go of my hand, sat down against the trunk, and gently tugged me down beside him. The ground was cool, but when his arm brushed against mine, warmth seeped into me.I looked around, wondering why he chose here of all places to sit. Was this our final destination?Nothing felt special about this place, at least to me. It was just a normal part of the forest. Except that the

Sabrina’s POVI couldn’t stop pacing. Back and forth, my bare feet brushed against the cold floor, waiting for Damon to come. I was anxious...who wouldn't be after having such a vision.I turned at every slight noise, hoping Damon would walk through that door and tell me that the witch was dead, I wouldn't have any reason to worry.I pressed my temples. I still couldn't wrap my head salting the fact that Nymeria was a twin. Now it finally made sense. No wonder the woman in my vision had felt so different. She had Nymeria’s face but there was something dark about her features. Not the dark makeup—like shadows bleeding under her skin. Ominous, suffocating, like she carried death inside her. Nymeria had always been calm, kind, her presence steadying. Nothing like what I’d seen. But then another thought clawed at me. If Damon knew Nymeria’s sister was the witch who cursed him, why keep Nymeria close? Why take that risk at all? Damon wasn’t careless—he was the opposite of it. Everything he

Damon's POVI pulled Sabrina into a bone-crushing hug, holding her tightly to stop her little frame from trembling so much. She kept on sobbing, repeating the same words."I killed you! I drive the knife through your chest!"It felt like a hand was squeezing around my heart seeing her like this. Just what had she seen to make her react this way? Me dying?"Breathe, little mouth. Calm down. I've got you." I cooed, running my hand through her hair as her head rested on my shoulders. At last, the violent sobs were quieted down. Her breath still hitched, but she was not choking on her tears anymore. She withdrew and looked at me with swollen eyes.“Damon,” she whispered hoarsely, “my visions… they always come to pass. I’m so scared.”I hissed, the sound coming out of me before I could prevent it. When I heard she was a gifted wolf, I was elated, thinking how she'd be able to protect herself properly once her wolf surfaces. Her seeing visions made me think she had the upper hand, but boy w

Damon’s POVThe doctor’s words were like razors scraping in the inside of my ears.“I cannot verify what’s wrong with her,” he said carefully, wringing his hands as though my glare might snap his neck. “All we can do is wait… and hope she wakes.”Hope?I clenched my teeth so hard my jaw ached. Hope was not enough. I had left the council hall when Nanny Tessa burst in, frantic, gasping that Sabrina had collapsed. My heart had stopped then and I loved without a second thought, storming out of the council hall and head to her room. Now, I was watching her lay unmoving, her body still as stone on the mattress, her skin pale like all the blood had been drained from them.Earlier, Anne, one of the kitchen servants, had been the only one coherent enough to explain what happened. Her voice had trembled as she recalled it: Sabrina had been fine, laughing even, until suddenly her eyes lit with a blinding white glow. Light so bright it made the other girls duck. Then she collapsed suddenly, go

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   You don’t know?

Sabrina's POV Back in my room, I freshened up and put on my Kitchen and headed to the kitchen. My least money with Damon left off strange and awakened, but that did not rid me of the joy I felt in my chest. I felt…free, loved, accepted. With that joy, I entered the kitchen, all smiles. I hoped that I would be greeted with cheerful faces, possibly a squeal or two. I was excited to see the girls. They must’ve known I was back, news traveled fast in this pack. The last time we saw each other, they were all crying, afraid they wouldn’t see me again. However, it all seemed wrong as I entered the kitchen. There was the rattle of pots and chopping knives, but the chatter that usually filled the kitchen was absent. The girls paused when they noticed my presence and I smiled widely at them, expecting the same from them but instead, they went back to their duties and ignored me like I were air. My brows knitted. “Hello,” I said softly, my voice laced with uncertainty but I got no respo

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Doesn’t have a name; War is coming

Damon’s POV Ian adjusted Danielle in his arms, her whole frame trembling. Her neck was what was hurt, but for some reason she couldn’t stand on her own feet by herself. She wanted me to see, to feel sorry. Unfortunately, I didn’t. Despite acting all fragile and wounded, she still managed to glare at Sabrina. The malicious intent pricked at my skin and my wolf wanted nothing more then to rip her into shreds to prevent any future attempt. The guards stood at the door, uncertain of what was happening, all the while waiting for orders. I had called for them long ago, but they all arrived when the damage had already been done. “Take her to her room and call for the pack doctor,” Ian ordered, trying to hand Danielle lever to them. “No.” I spoke before anyone could move. I glanced coldly at Danielle who had a look of confusion on her face. “Take her to the dungeon, until further notice.” Danielle’s face blanched, then contorted with shock. “What?” Her voice was hoarse from my grip on
