Damon’s POV

“Where is the witch?” My voice cut through the silence.

Two guards passed me in the opposite direction, dragging the interrogation chair away. The cell was empty. No bloodied prisoner. Nobody. Just Nymeria, standing tall with her arms folded, her eyes watching me like a hawk.

My brows furrowed. “Where is she?”

Nymeria pursed her lips. “She’s dead.”

My expression darkened. I stepped closer, my shadow swallowing hers. “Dead?” My voice came sharp. “And what exactly did you do?”

For a long moment she only stared at me, and the silence gnawed at my patience. My wolf snarled beneath my skin, restless, clawing to get out. He hadn’t been this awake in days, napping from the peace our mate brought him.

But tonight, seeing Sabrina, our mate, broken and trembling, Greyson’s stench all over her—he had risen like fire. Rage was burning through me, demanding more blood than what Greyson’s corpse had given.

If Sabrina hadn’t been there, I would have torn Greyson apart piece by piece, le

Susan’s POVI groaned as the tailors behind me tried to zip up my wedding gown.“It’s not moving?” I asked already getting impatient. We’ve been at this for a few minutes now.“Just a little more…” The tailor breathed heavily before I felt the gown hug me so tightly I fought for air. “All done!” The tailor clasped his hands his eyes raking over me in glee.“You look so beautiful, Susan.” He gushed.I forced out a smile, then turned to look at myself in the tall mirror before me.The gown was indeed beautiful.Silver embroidery shimmered across its white fabric. The gown was beautiful, yes, but its weight felt like a chain, each thread binding me to a fate I had never chosen. Every time I shifted, the gown hugged me tighter. A reminder of the bondage I was about to enter.I tugged at the corset laces, struggling for breath, when the door burst open.Ana rushed in, her dark braid swinging over her shoulder, her eyes wide with worry. At thirteen, she still carried the spark of innocence

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Let's get married

Sabrina's POVI hadn’t been feeling well ever since I saw Damon’s diary. The things he wrote, the way he bared his soul… it left a weight in my chest that I couldn’t shake. I tried keeping busy, burying myself in chores, cleaning every corner of the pack house, organizing the library again and again. Anything to keep my mind from wandering back to him. But the moment I allowed myself to rest, even for a second, my thoughts inevitably returned to Damon, and I had to find something to distract myself. All the while, someone was always checking up on me—Nanny Tessa, the girls, even the kitchen staff. Their eyes lingered too long sometimes, their worry obvious. And somehow, I had forgotten about Freddie—the boy who had been trying to win my favor for days now.He had first approached me two nights ago, at the left wing where my room was. He told me he’d been looking for me for a while and that he hadn’t seen me in days, growing worried. I told him I was fine, but he didn’t listen. He stay

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Announcement

Damon's POVIt had been two days since I last saw Sabrina, and in those two days I had been useless. Nothing I touched seemed to matter. Reports stacked upon my desk, contracts, letters, petitions, all of it faded away to a meaningless jumble the second my thoughts turned to her. I turned slowly in my swivel chair, where the leather squeaked beneath me, and my head went round faster than I could. My wolf was bristling in impatience, snarling under my skin. Go to her. Stop this. Protect her. All my instincts yelled it. All logic suggested that I should wait, that I should respect her, that I should allow her to make advances to me.The door then was opened, and Nanny Tessa came in first. She was carrying a glass of juice and I could see the worry in her face. Ian followed, and settled in the opposite chair, with that good, exasperating smile of his.“I have good news to tell you, Damon.” He said, too cheerfully.Nanny Tessa, however, looked like she was bearing a storm on her shoulde

Sabrina’s POVIan and I were already in the car. He sat in the front seat with the driver while I sat alone in the back.I rolled down the window and waved at the girls, who were huddled together, their faces wet with tears. Even Nanny Tessa was there, holding one of the younger maids who sobbed on her shoulder. She tried to be strong for everyone. A few staff from other sectors had come out too, just to see me off. I felt loved that this many people cared about me. But my heart betrayed me, my eyes unconsciously searching for one person. My chest tightened painfully when I didn’t see him.So this was really it.Just as I began to roll the glass back up, I saw him. Alpha Damon. For the briefest second, I saw him standing behind the door of the pack house, peeking at me. Before I could get a clearer look, he disappeared.I probably imagined it, I thought to myself, and scolded myself not to think about him.The car pulled away and we were on our way to Greenville Pack.My lips trembl

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Trouble 2

Damon’s POV Sabrina had never spoken to me like that before. Her voice, usually soft, cautious, filled with warmth, had come out sharp, defiant, full of fire. It stunned me to silence. Even after she stormed off, the echo of her anger still lingered in the air, like thunder after lightning. It wasn’t just anger. I could feel it. It was everything she had been holding in, weeks, maybe months of frustration. I ran a hand through my hair, cursing under my breath. The tension in my chest wouldn’t leave. My own wolf was pacing restlessly, growling in frustration at how things had gone so wrong, so fast. When I turned, I saw Danielle standing in the corner, her eyes glassy and cautious. She must have heard everything. She walked over slowly, her expression a blend of pity and apology. “I’m sorry,” she whispered, reaching for my arm. “She shouldn’t have yelled at you like that. Especially not for my sake. I didn’t know she was the kind to disrespect you.” Her touch felt wrong. My body

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Trouble

Sabrina’s POVIt didn’t make sense. Danielle knew, and I didn’t? My thoughts spun, colliding in a haze of confusion. If Danielle knew, then did Ian know too? Probably. They were Damon’s beta and gamma—of course they would know. But still… it hurt. It hurt that everyone else seemed to be in on something I wasn’t.I took a deep breath and moved closer to Danielle, needing clarity. “I don’t know,” I said, shaking my head, the words slipping out twice as if repeating them would make me understand. “I don’t know.”Danielle hummed softly, tilting her head as she looked at me. “That’s too bad,” she said with a curious smile. “Why didn’t Damon tell you? I thought you guys were a thing now.”I felt my face flush instantly. The way she said it, so casually, like it was obvious—made my heart flutter and stumble all at once. “We’re… we’re taking it slow,” I said, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. “Just getting to know each other better. We—”Before I could say more, I heard something strange
