Damon’s POV

I stilled. It felt like the world was spinning. Every inch of my body burned…it was so unusual. My head pounded so much like a pack of wolves was marching on my skull. I felt too weak to even be on my feet.

I had first smelled her in my sleep. Her familiar sweet and intoxicating scent. I thought it was just another cruel dream, my mind mocking me by constantly replaying the one thing I couldn’t have. I craved her so much that I thought she appeared in my dream. My wolf had taken over, moved by instinct, the primal urge to claim her driving me past reason.

I had almost… marked her. Almost sank my fangs into her delicate skin and bound her to me forever. Almost pinned her down and kept her by my side forever.

The shame of it burned hotter than whatever was happening to my body. If she hadn’t stopped me… if she hadn’t called my name… I would have done something I could never take back.

This…this was exactly why she had to stay far away from me. My cursed, broken self was a da

Sabrina’s POVDamon’s voice softened again as he spoke, and though his tone carried the faintest hint of amusement, his voice went heavy suddenly.“Our parents hated it,” he said quietly. “They opposed us at every turn. But Tiara and I… we didn’t care. We dated in secret for years, meeting under the moon, sneaking out of banquets, even pretending not to know each other when people were around. She almost got married off once—into the kingdom of Girbly, a human kingdom.”He chuckled, shaking his head slightly as if the memory was playing right before his eyes. “She wept like a baby when she found out. She went on a food strike, wouldn’t eat a single bite. The entire household was in chaos. News spread quickly that the bride-to-be was starving herself, and finally, the human groom backed out on his own. He was terrified she’d die on him before the wedding even happened, so he called it off.”The faint, fond smile lingered on his lips, and then he turned to me, his gaze lingering. For a

Sabrina’s POVI had no idea where Damon was leading me. He left the pack house for a while on foot, and we walked hand in hand until we were far past pack borders. He led me into the forest, the dry leaves crunching under our feet as we made it through. Crickets chirped here and there and the faint sounds of animals rustling through the trees, accompanied us as we walked further. It felt like the trees grew longer as we went deeper into the forest, seeing that the moon barely didn't spilled through the trees. We finally stopped under a massive oak tree. Its trunk was thick, roots sprawling out like claws.Damon let go of my hand, sat down against the trunk, and gently tugged me down beside him. The ground was cool, but when his arm brushed against mine, warmth seeped into me.I looked around, wondering why he chose here of all places to sit. Was this our final destination?Nothing felt special about this place, at least to me. It was just a normal part of the forest. Except that the

Sabrina’s POVI couldn’t stop pacing. Back and forth, my bare feet brushed against the cold floor, waiting for Damon to come. I was anxious...who wouldn't be after having such a vision.I turned at every slight noise, hoping Damon would walk through that door and tell me that the witch was dead, I wouldn't have any reason to worry.I pressed my temples. I still couldn't wrap my head salting the fact that Nymeria was a twin. Now it finally made sense. No wonder the woman in my vision had felt so different. She had Nymeria’s face but there was something dark about her features. Not the dark makeup—like shadows bleeding under her skin. Ominous, suffocating, like she carried death inside her. Nymeria had always been calm, kind, her presence steadying. Nothing like what I’d seen. But then another thought clawed at me. If Damon knew Nymeria’s sister was the witch who cursed him, why keep Nymeria close? Why take that risk at all? Damon wasn’t careless—he was the opposite of it. Everything he

Damon's POVI pulled Sabrina into a bone-crushing hug, holding her tightly to stop her little frame from trembling so much. She kept on sobbing, repeating the same words."I killed you! I drive the knife through your chest!"It felt like a hand was squeezing around my heart seeing her like this. Just what had she seen to make her react this way? Me dying?"Breathe, little mouth. Calm down. I've got you." I cooed, running my hand through her hair as her head rested on my shoulders. At last, the violent sobs were quieted down. Her breath still hitched, but she was not choking on her tears anymore. She withdrew and looked at me with swollen eyes.“Damon,” she whispered hoarsely, “my visions… they always come to pass. I’m so scared.”I hissed, the sound coming out of me before I could prevent it. When I heard she was a gifted wolf, I was elated, thinking how she'd be able to protect herself properly once her wolf surfaces. Her seeing visions made me think she had the upper hand, but boy w

Damon’s POVThe doctor’s words were like razors scraping in the inside of my ears.“I cannot verify what’s wrong with her,” he said carefully, wringing his hands as though my glare might snap his neck. “All we can do is wait… and hope she wakes.”Hope?I clenched my teeth so hard my jaw ached. Hope was not enough. I had left the council hall when Nanny Tessa burst in, frantic, gasping that Sabrina had collapsed. My heart had stopped then and I loved without a second thought, storming out of the council hall and head to her room. Now, I was watching her lay unmoving, her body still as stone on the mattress, her skin pale like all the blood had been drained from them.Earlier, Anne, one of the kitchen servants, had been the only one coherent enough to explain what happened. Her voice had trembled as she recalled it: Sabrina had been fine, laughing even, until suddenly her eyes lit with a blinding white glow. Light so bright it made the other girls duck. Then she collapsed suddenly, go

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   You don’t know?

Sabrina's POV Back in my room, I freshened up and put on my Kitchen and headed to the kitchen. My least money with Damon left off strange and awakened, but that did not rid me of the joy I felt in my chest. I felt…free, loved, accepted. With that joy, I entered the kitchen, all smiles. I hoped that I would be greeted with cheerful faces, possibly a squeal or two. I was excited to see the girls. They must’ve known I was back, news traveled fast in this pack. The last time we saw each other, they were all crying, afraid they wouldn’t see me again. However, it all seemed wrong as I entered the kitchen. There was the rattle of pots and chopping knives, but the chatter that usually filled the kitchen was absent. The girls paused when they noticed my presence and I smiled widely at them, expecting the same from them but instead, they went back to their duties and ignored me like I were air. My brows knitted. “Hello,” I said softly, my voice laced with uncertainty but I got no respo
